I don't know enough about Kafka to know whether or not he's ready to become an NFL Offensive Coordinator but I do know that he's only 30 years old, which is a bit young, IMO.

Not everyone can be Sean McVay.

We should hire Scott Frost.

Would be a huge step up for Frost, well anywhere would be from Nebraska.

Everybody is running from this franchise. Or are they running from Reid?

Who wants to be OC in name only?

Who wants to have their 18 point lead at halftime in the playoffs decimated by a meddling fatman who can't keep his fingers off the headset controls?

EB as OC with heavy influence from Reid and a healthy dose of Hunt/Ware could be a good start for Mahomes. Promote Kafka to QB coach

That's because Colorado on the whole sucked. Poor recruiting, poor head coach in Jon Embree, etc. and so on.

That said, he's 48 years old and has never coached anything other than NFL running backs, so it's difficult to make the leap to NFL Offensive Coordinator at this point.

Well, DANE, it's not like the fatman will trust EB with actually calling the plays, ya know...

Nobody is running from Reid. We've had two gms quickly picked off. 4 Reid tree head coaches in the playoffs. Two assistants in line to be head coach. What assistant coach wouldn't want to be in kc right now?

If Reid were to give up total playcalling, I'd love to give Sean Ryan a look. Supposed to be the it candidate right now. But thats a total long shot.

Matt Nagy and Doug Pederson, to name two, both of whom became head coaches in the NFL after working for Reid.

Ryan hasn't worked in a WCO offense before and has been a WR coach for the majority of his career.

He has plenty of west coast experience under Coughlin. Gil Brandt says all his contacts think he's the next Sean mcvay. If I'm not mistaken he was there when mcadoo installed the WCO into new York.

Both of whom will most likely lead their team to playoff successes before Reid.

Glad we're the farm league for the NFL coaching carousel.

So Bienemy OC and sign Priest Holmes as the RB coach and Trent Green the QB coach.

Calm down people.

This is all about an uncoming transition. Guys like Childress were on auto pilot with a QB like Smith. He was cautious, ran the system, and stayed on the field, and won games. Life will be different with a green gunslinger.
