Not sure if this was posted somewhere but listening to NFL Radio earlier and someone asked Geoff Schwartz to ask his brother what was going on with eric Fisher. He said he already knew what they were planning and couldn't say on the air because it wasn't known but then added that Erving would be LT if Fisher was out. Reading between the lines it sounded like Fisher will be out.

The Redskins DC is Greg Manusky. Last time Reid played Manusky was when Chiefs scored 44 vs the Colts

I'm going to ask again.

If we seriously start Witzmann at LT there is going to be a shitload of TEs on the field.

That's probably true no matter who you put at LT.

Our options:

Witzmann (who you don't want to move from LG)
Erving (who has been on this team less than a month -- and sucks)
Devey (sucks)
Schwartz (who do you put at RT against Kerrigan?)

I think Devey or Erving make the most sense at LT, but I think moving Witzmann and playing Ehinger keeps the team true to the "play your best 5" OL truism.

This team crawls through injuries all the time and still wins.

Any team but the Pats would collapse with what the Chiefs have gone through in the last 3 seasons.

And don't give me "you don't like him cause he loves Smith ". Sandy supports with and I am fine with sandy. The list of what is wrong with Tigger, including his trolling, is endless.

That would suck. But maybe Erving will play at a serviceable level. I mean, he can't be any worse than having Jah Reid, Jordan Black, or Donald Stephenson can he? Andy will adjust the scheme to help cover that side too I'm sure. I expect to see lots of short, quick passes and a tight end staying in to help block.
