Difference of opinion.

Come on, Man. Mike Mayock is a fine broadcaster but he doesn't have access to every interview made by each team or private workouts, etc. and so on.

What Mike Mayock or any other draft "expert" thinks is irrelevant.

He gets a lot of inside info because he keeps his mouth shut till draft day (and works for the network).

He called the Morse pick last year. What he says is very relevant.

Agree to disagree.

Like Peter King, he may get info directly from the team in the hours before the draft but let's not pretend like Mike Mayock had Mitch Morse to the Chiefs in March.

That's not what I'm saying. Of course it's from what he's been told leading up to draft. What I'm saying is he get a TON of inside info.

He doesn't release his mock/top 100 till a day before the draft for that very reason. He had Morse as a top 5 interior OL in his final rankings and called the pick before it happened. He does it all the time on draft day. I'd go as far as to say nobody has a pulse on the draft and what teams are thinking on draft day like Mayock. Unlike King, he's also a pretty good evaluator.

And he's still wrong all of the time.

None of these guys are ever dead on with their mocks, whether it's Mayock or Rick Gosselin.

Teams just don't release much information.

I think so too, but Tunsil is better. So are Ramsey and Buckner.

Stanley has been gaining tons of momentum. Reminds me of Fisher/Joeckel a few years back. Lots of rumors swirling that teams prefer Stanley over Tunsil.

Of course he doesn't know it all and can't predict every single thing, but that doesn't change the fact that he's spot on more than anybody in the business.

If you can't listen to Mayock, you can't listen to anybody.

They can't stop anybody because they can't get to opposing QBs.

Do they need a LT? Yes...but they desperately need a high end pass rusher.

Melvin Ingram broke out last year as a double-digit sack pass rusher and they drafted a high 2nd rd pick on Attacochu who is basically their Dee Ford.

With the best pass rushers in the NFL on every divisional rivals team, Tunsil makes the most sense.

Buckner makes the most sense for them. It'll either be a LT or Buckner. They have a ton of free agent $$$ locked into their O-line after giving Dunlap and Franklin big contracts just a season or two ago, so i can see them going Buckner.

They have NOBODY opposite Liuget and prior to signing the aging Mebane, they may have had the worst 34 DL in the league. They were god awful against the run, couldn't stop anyone.

Quick! Name the guy who plays opposite Corey Liuget! You can't. Exactly why i think they draft Buckner. They have a gaping hole over there and the Chargers draft for need.

John Schneider said he thinks this draft is the deepest he's seen since 2010. Yeah trading down is going to be highly likely IMO

Chiefs cut fanaika

Dov Kleiman

#Chiefs have released former #Cardinals, #Seahawks OG Paul Fanaika.

From TJ Carpenter

The more I listen to John Dorsey's comments from last week, the more I think it's a real possibility the Chiefs trade out of the 1st round.

If one of the 12 difference makers Dorsey likes doesn't fall to Chiefs at 28, they could trade down to acquire multiple picks in 2nd/3rd.

I feel the same way after listening to Dorsey last week.

It all depends on how the picks fall and how many of the first and second grouping are available around the time we pick.

I'd think KC would be willing to move 10 spots in either direction if the price is right.

It sure looks like it's just as deep...maybe deeper.

Lots of talent at very pivotal positions.
