in fact if he played in 06 or 07 he would have probably thrown even more interceptions, furthering my point in that Fitz and Alex are not the same and would be much farther apart.

Smith has been on much better team's.

Look at smith stats during the mike singletary year's with out a good defense carrying him he is trash.

also fitz has been on 6 teams

I have seen nothing from Smith that makes me believe he will ever be more then a game manager QB we might win a superbowl with him.

If we do it will be with a 25th or higher offense in spite of him not because.

Hey, Dipshit, the Chiefs were 9th in scoring last year.

No one with half a brain gives a shit about yardage.

BossChief 03-13-2016 08:42 PM

remember, Chan Gailey got Tyler Thigpen to be productive.

Dudes a baller coach that deserves a HC spot in the next 2 years.

I don't have proof, but I swear you guys are arguing with Wendler,

Same stench.

They are paying for youth and upside potential??

Fitz is a known quantity and doesn't excite anyone

He did have a nice season last year though.

So the fact that all the team's on overall offense that the chiefs are near suck is just a coincidence right ?

The difference between Smith and Fitzpatrick is one simple truth.

Smith will not win you a lot of games, but neither will he lose you games.

Fitzpatrick not win you games, but he will lose you games.

I think he's like Wade Phillips, elite top coordinator but meh HC.

Bill O'Brien and Rick Smith are reaching with Osweiler, IMO. It would have been one thing had they done a Dalton/Kaepernick deal for $12 million and "escape clauses" but $18 million is ludicrous for a guy with mediocre stats, poor attitude when benched and seven starts in 4 years.

The Jets and Broncos can't have their cake and eat it, too. The going rate for starting NFL QB's in 2016 starts around $15 million, not $7 million.

If they don't want to pay that, good luck with players like Mark Sanchez.

Hard to tell. You've never said anything positive about the Chiefs.

Offenses aren't one man shows, you know. And that 25th ranked stat is taking into account the five game skid we had when Jamaal went down and our offensive line was a wreck and different every week. You're talking out of your ass when comparing what our 2016 offense will look like vs. Denver's 2016 offense. Who on that offense scares you? Thomas and Sanders? Yeah, let's wait to see who they have throwing the ball first and what kind of line he will have before you start throwing out the doom and gloom hyperbole, ok?
