Must be nice throwing the defense under the bus with "44 points" while ignoring the points scored off turnover.

The whole team sucked shit the 2nd half, including Alex.

Um, the Chiefs turned the ball over ONCE.

The colts scored 45 points. Who exactly should get the blame for that?

Alex Smith?

It's not his fault that we lost, but his play in the 2nd half illustrates why I've never embraced him. He was just a passenger along on the bus that went off the cliff. Might have ran up to the drivers seat to apply the brakes. Even with the bad defense, he was in a position to win the game for us. The best QBs do that.

He put the ball in Bowe's hands with the game on the line. As great as Bowe played, he didn't get it done on that one. The whole team was limping into the 4th quarter...key players out and such.

I get that. I do. How many of those qbs could of over come losing their ONLY explosive play maker 6 plays in? That's not even the biggest loss for me.

Knile was a Beast.

That's what hurt the most.

The thing is, teams with elite QB's can overcome losing their explosive RB. A. Smith cannot.

Tell that to the Ravens last season and the Giants the season before that. Defense matters a lot. The defense was incredibly conservative in the 2nd half, Sutton should have basically sent jailhouse blitz after jailhouse blitz at Luck, knowing he'd have to throw the ball, instead he got to sit back and pick them apart.

Horrendous defensive showing, had this defense even played average they would have won the game walking away. If your offense puts up 41 points, you should win every single m'fing time.

Yep, The colts were sending the house on us in the second half and it didn't matter their secondary was banged up. Sutton has no balls!!!

Well if Andrew Luck is the goal, then Alex Smith is never going to be that. But I think Luck can be better than Manning and Brady.

Plus the fact that the D kept on giving up big play after big play. The average TOP for their scoring drives was like 2:30

Alex may be a playmaker but he will become the least talented QB in the division next year when Johnny Football becomes Johnny Raider. I just can't see Oakland not taking him at #5.

If you homos are still against Alex, see you in the pre-season. I'll not waste my time listening to the opinions of troglodytes whine all off-season long.

You forgot Sean Smith and Dunta Robinson and every other DB who can't cover.

No he overcame that...he even overcame losing his back up...

Nevermind that he also lost his deep threat WR.

You're kidding me right?

Smith lost his explosive back, his 2nd string back, and his deep threat WR.

This is ****ing stupid.

Smith carried this offense and his play was what got us a big lead.

He's the last person we should be blaming today...

Jakemall 01-04-2014 07:42 PM

Here's something to chew on...Alex was the better QB tonight.

See ya, every moment Alex is a Chief just reeruns the day we win a Super Bowl.

440 yards 4TDS 0INT without Charles. If the defense could get ONE SINGLE ****ING STOP IN THE 2ND HALF the outcome would have been different. Was that too much to ask for?
