Another Reid myth.

Besides, a HC who believes in pass > run WOULD BE ****ING WELCOME.

Romeo Crennel was a successful HEAD COACH somewhere?

In what universe? Alternate reality NFL? X Dimension?

Those guys were all successful head coaches somewhere else before they went to their 2nd team and won big. I guess Shanahan wasn't. Whatever.

A coach who realizes the importance of never stopping looking for QBs would be too.

He had about the same amount of success as Belichick or Shanahan did. I don't buy any that "trend" BS.

The Franchise 10-16-2012 11:13 AM

Is he my first choice? No.

Would I be upset? Meh.

the Talking Can 10-16-2012 11:14 AM

yeah, let's bring in a burn out...

OK, those were probably bad examples.

The rest ring true.

It's better than hiring Cowher, for sure.

I'd prefer to strike gold with a Sean Payton type, but Reid would be acceptable if he doesn't keel over from BBQ abuse.

Hammock Parties 10-16-2012 11:15 AM

Won't happen because the Eagles would be fools to let him go.

When Norv Turner is fired, who would like him as OC?

Sorter 10-16-2012 11:18 AM

I would love to have Reid as an OC and QB coach. I'm not sure if he would be willing to do that.

However, a Mike Zimmer HC and an Andy Reid OC doesn't sound terrible to me.

Most would, IMO.

Michael Vick yo.

Take his 40 runs out of the equation and where do they rank?

The Franchise 10-16-2012 11:26 AM

The Eagles are 10th in rushing yards with 732.

Vick has 205 rushing yards.

Without Vick they would be 20th in the league in rushing yards.

McCoy is top 10 in yards. I agree he should have more, though.

Further, if you take away Vick's rushes they are 27th in the league in rushing attempts per game.
