What happens when a receiver gets sandwiched by 2 defenders at the same time? The receiver is still standing and the 2 defenders are on the ground. He hit him hard enough to take him down but because DJ is right behind him pushing the other way he stayed on his feet. |

He probably isn't going to blow the guy up, but he should come up and wrap up and make a tackle. He probably has the three guys fall back onto him for sure. You are right there. Hell if he wraps up maybe there is a fumble or somethign. |

I was referencing how to tackle there. I know he's not gonna blow up the rb in that case but he didn't properly hit or tackle the guy. That's why the wr in your case is standing. Guys in the NFL want the big hit and don't wrap up sometimes. |
McGraw just displayed crap technique. I understand the counter motion argument, but McGraw needed to plant and grab, hold on for dear life, not ry to smackdown.

I'm not a fan of McGraw at all. I think he's slow and unathletic.
But he's usually a technique tackler. Don't know what happened on that play. |

After Palko & Cassel, if Orton is even luke warm. The offense will treat him like a rock star. Tony G was gonzo for freaking Thigpen

Most NFL defenders would do well to learn how to tackle properly. If you take someone low enough and hold on, it's very difficult to keep going regardless of any size or weight difference.

I'll take McGraw over Washington and Piscetelli anyday.
