I'm no genious, but I'm pretty sure that the difference between a bunch of ice and a bunch of snow is roughly 1 degree. I think you should sue the weathermen for missing the forecast by 1 degree.

Then by Gawd, they should call it as such. All day. From the beginning. Not bouncing back and forth. It's a disgrace.

Skip, why don't you just drive your house further south?

If they call for snow then deliver snow. Freezing rain is not snow. My kids were all geeked about 12" of snow and they woke up to crap! Fire the weather guesser people!!!

WilliamTheIrish 03-28-2009 02:09 PM

Exactly. And don't give me any of that heat! If it's supposed to be humid, then give me humidity. I don't ever want to hear, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity".

Bowser 03-28-2009 02:12 PM

Humidity sucks. Worst part about the midwest in summer. Well, that, and no beaches or anywhere really cool to go on a daily basis, but you get what I'm saying.

We were supposed to have 4-8 inches by 8am this morning. I think we have half an inch right now.

I'm ticked! We kept our oldest out of an all night birthday party for his friend based on the forecast because I didn't want my wife out driving in this crap with ALL of our kids to pick him up this morning. Now we just have an upset kid because we tried to make an informed decision.

gblowfish 03-28-2009 02:22 PM

It's white. It's wet. It's here.
