Everyone on draft day said they made the wrong choice taking Jones over Mendenhall...looks like we were all wrong.

I hated to see the Cowboys get Jones. He was better than McFadden at Arkansas (YPC) He is from Tulsa. Booker T Washington High School.

I don't know about that. If they wanted a speed back that badly, Chris Johnson is even faster than Jones, and Mendenhall is going to be a badass.

But I'm not sure either one of them is the same package Jones is and when you factor in having Barber what Jones can do is very valuable to them.

I think Johnson is very similar--a smaller guy who is excellent outside the tackles. Mendenhall has a Larry Johnson type skill set (a little faster), and I can see why they wanted Jones for their system, but if you are going BPA, it was Mendenhall.

I hate AJ Hawk, and I love to see him pwned.

Jones is a good short yardage runner. Arkansas used him that way.

Yet, he'd a hell of a improvement over the current LB's we have, except maybe D. Johnson.
