Reliable must be the same jackasses that were involved with Hicks Brothers back in the 80's.

Awesome reason to purchase a rapidly depreciating asset.

Yeah, why buy something because you enjoy it and you can? My son will have this car someday and it will be a project for us to work on and have a great time as we get older. BTW, I don't think anyone purchases a muscle car to fly under the radar and go unnoticed, but what do I know? You sound like a real sensible guy, so you probably have the answer.

I would as Frazod or BigRedChief, they both own a new Mustang. As for the choice of color. I have purchased one new black car, and will never have another.

Well, congrats on the ability to throw away money and not think about it. In a few years, I'll be able to buy your '06 Mustang for nickels on the dollar for a project car of my own. But hey, at least the teenage girls are impressed.

BigRedChief 05-22-2006 05:59 PM

Most pony's here in the KC area are going for sticker. The V6's you can get 1K off of the sticker price. Supply and demand. It's about the only car that Ford is selling well.

Don't tell the Planet you got a V6 or they will label you a wimp even though they are driving a Saturn.

Sounds like a good deal if its in the KC Metro area.

I didn't buy mine for a show car but as transportation. In 3 years it will have 100,000 miles and my son turns 16 in those 3 years.

Sir, you will not buy my Mustang in a few years for nickels on the dollar. I'm sure one of the other 05/06 Stang owners would be happy to oblige though. What do you guys think? Can you help Mr Brock out? :shake:

No worries. I'm not going to Iowa to pick up a common pony car that I can pick up anywhere.

I got it today. I caved in and paid to much for it but it was the one that I wanted. It is really nice for a V6. I would send a pic but I am sure everyone has seen a black Mustang by now.

Send the pic anyway. I'm sure Brock would like to see it.

At least you didn't compound your error by buying a bogus performance package. Congrats on the new car.
