#Raiders had less than $1m in cap space (per NFLPA records), but cutting King is still a surprise. They'll save $2.9m.

OTC says they have like $14M and Spotrac says they have $18M. Weird.

Maybe they had incentive triggers last year that were “unlikely to be earned”...so they didn’t factor into last year but did this year.

That’s crazy they cut King...he’s pretty good and Oakland punts a lot.
Maybe his agent wants top of the league money and threatened a holdout.

King is a very good punter but a prima donna attention whore on twitter and such. Maybe Gruden is eliminating a few of last years Raider drama queens......

Good question....I don`t know. Living here in the Bay Area I`m hearing King put himself above the team and caused locker room issues along with Crabtree. After every punt he runs around doing a "pony spank" routine that got old to many folks as well. Who knows? Maybe they are taking some of his salary to resign Bowman??

I might add there is probably more room for forgiveness for a starting RB vs a punter.
