Andy Reid wants Juan Castillo to be his offensive line coach
Posted by Michael David Smith on January 4, 2013, 10:03 AM EST http://nbcprofootballtalk.files.word...1121.jpg?w=239 AP If Andy Reid does, as expected, become an NFL head coach again this year, he will again hire Juan Castillo as an assistant.Settle down, Chiefs fans: Reid wants Castillo to be his offensive line coach, not his defensive coordinator. Reid is widely regarded as the frontrunner to become the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, possibly as soon as today, and CSN’s Derrick Gunn reports that Castillo has an offer from Reid to be the offensive line coach whenever Reid becomes a head coach. Although Reid fired Castillo as defensive coordinator during the 2012 season, it makes perfect sense that they’d reunite: Castillo was a well-regarded offensive line coach before Reid made the foolish decision to move him to the other side of the ball, and Castillo and Reid have spoken warmly about each other as friends even after Reid fired Castillo. Just because Castillo failed as a defensive coordinator doesn’t mean he’s not a good offensive line coach. And so Castillo may soon be an offensive line coach again in Kansas City. |
Im so happy! Damnit i dont wana go to work lol

Again, Green Bay's John Dorsey well positioned to join KC's front office. expect other hires beyond him there. need a contract guy, etc. |
