When I was in school in KC we lived in the same townhouse complex as some of the mid and low round chiefs guys. We got to know the Kush's pretty well and Houston and his GF a little bit.
When my wife was pregnant with our first she'd go to the pool a lot to float around like a bobber or something and I'd go up there when I got out of school. A few times Houston would be up there and usually those times I'd opt to just keep my shirt on and hang by the side. He's a large man.

Yeah, it's a trip. When I had field passes to the Bills-Rams game, I immediately noticed how all of the skill position players were so long and lean - almost like basketball players.

But the OLBers, defensive line and offensive lineman were ****ing HUGE, just as Kelce was ****ing huge.

It's crazy because even just like 20 years ago, most of those guys were so much smaller. My wife went to UCLA with Donnie Edwards and went I met him, he was slightly bigger than me.

Now, with nutrition and training, these guys are ****ing monsters.

The worst part about the appendectomy is that she can't take a bath or swim for 3 weeks and can only go on the kiddie rides at Disneyland, so I just kept her home with me instead of torturing her while we're all in the pool in Palm Springs.

Yeah, I've had my appendix out. Shit isn't fun. Has she been feeling any pain from the gas that they put into the abdomen for surgery? That was the worst part of it all.

****ing concussions man. All she did was get run into at recess.....fell and hit her head on the blacktop. She can't do anything....homework....soccer....electronics. She hasn't been sleeping well and has no appetite.

When I was in the first grade I got clocked so hard once during recess playing football that I had temporary amnesia. The teacher just sent me back to the classroom to shake it off. I sat there while everyone else finished recess and could not for the life of me remember what all the stuff that was sitting on my desk was there for. About 20 minutes later it started to come back to me about the project we were working on before recess.

No visit to the nurse. No concussion protocol. Nothing. Just rub some dirt on it and get back in there. Nobody gave a shit, least of all me. Times have certainly changed. Glad they are looking out for that kind of stuff more these days. I'm sure your daughter will be good to go soon. Kids bounce back fast.
