I guess I’m less hopeful. Pass rushers usually take a couple years to develop. The bills double-dipped at DE last year with Rousseau and basham and grabbed epenesa the year before and their pass rush was still mediocre.

Mediocre would be a huge leap forward from where they were last year.

We could sign Melvin Ingram today and have basically the same pass rush as last year before the draft even starts.

You add Ingram and 2-3 early round pass rushers and it’s already a much deeper group.

I just don’t buy that it’s somehow going to be worse.

People do every year. They see a guy give up a TD in training camp or preseason and blow their brains out with a shotgun.

He was old last year and looked like a guy that still had another year left in the tank to me.

The idea is to have a better rotation so you can keep him fresh.

Chandler Jones is 32 same age as Ingram
Von is 33, K Mack is 31

And he was non existent in the Steelers and Bengals games. I'll have to look up what he did against the Bills off the top I don't remember him doing much. Your opinion of course will change based off what Veach does.
