Appreciate what he did for us to steady the ship when Andy came in. Also had many incredible wins under his belt. Just wasn't good enough when it came to the playoffs. I wish the guy well though.

Ok. Gotcha.

Indy makes a lot of sense too.

UChieffyBugger 03-28-2018 12:11 PM

What about the Browns? Odell, Javis and Gordan as their receivers? SMH they'd rival our trio of Kelce, Hill and Watkins tbh.

Not really.

They have a talent depleted roster, and are not on any free agent's list of destinations..

Trading away draft picks for one player with as many holes as they have to fill would be irresponsible.

Beckham playing on the offensive line?

Indy isn't close to competing. It'd be stupid of them to trade for an OBJ.

Sassy Squatch 03-28-2018 12:14 PM

Assuming whoever trades for him will want an extension in place 1st.

The Franchise 03-28-2018 12:15 PM

Honestly...I could see the Rams, 49ers or Jets going after him.

They'd end up having to let one of either Gordon or OBJ walk the following year, as both contracts come due, while already paying Landry.

I hope it's the Rams so we can watch them implode.

I haven't spent that much time here of late either.

I am a defensive homer, but the way the league has evolved, and has continued to evolve, I think the direction that Veach has taken is the correct one for today's game.

Put up as many points as you can and make the opposition try to keep up.
The days of defensive teams winning SBs are going to continue to become more and more rare.

I believe that Mahomes is going to surprise most of the national pundits who aren't buying into him as a franchise QB just yet.
I believe he will throw fewer interceptions than even those here that have high hopes for him believe he will throw.
I believe his playmaking abilities will help Watkins finally achieve his potential.

I also believe that Xavier Williams will be a bigger addition than anyone else expects, and that he will help this defense climb a level, which will get them to good enough.

So, I am on board.

I’m curious as to why you’re so high on Williams in particular.

O.city 03-28-2018 12:20 PM

It'll be the Rams.

Or maybe the Cowboys.
