Generally, it'll work like this.

Texas will finish 11-1, the one loss coming against Kansas State.
Oklahoma will finish 11-1, the one loss coming against Texas.
Kansas State will finish 1-11, since they can't beat anybody but Texas.
Kansas and Missouri will finish with identical 7-5 records, but Missouri wins head-to-head. Nevertheless, Missouri gets relegated to the Poinsettia Bowl and loses by three touchdowns to Ball State.

you forgot how that Ball State matchup will be a re-match from Mu's non-conf schedule. You know Pinkel likes to schedule those MAC teams.

No way OU and Texas are in seperate divisions.

Why? Playing in the championship game every year would make the rivalry bigger. Plus even if they don't play in the championship game that year, theres still a pretty good chance they would play eachother during the season. Either way it would be rare for them not to play eachother.

it sucks ... might and well just drop to our knees and start licking TU Taint immediately.

apparently we are just a worthless pile of shit with no other options.

KU chancellor/AD should both be fire for failing to do their job

their job is to raise the level of KU profile/value academically and athletically ... they have failed

Yea I suppose that KU's, K-state's and Iowa State's non-con schedule is vastly superior to Mizzou's :spock:

Again, Bob Dole doesn't even see this as a significant advantage for the Texas schools. Despite all the rivals talk at sporting events and in most of the fan's minds, there's a surprising amount of cooperation amongst the various university systems in the state, both through funding and through projects that take advantage of the economies of scale in a state of this size.

If academically there's some sort of federal funding advantage to a formal co-op, it would make more sense to set up a structure to compete with the CIC. (Which is ignoring whether there really IS an advatage over the current level of grant funding.)

Yeah, I wasn't sure. I've been following the thread, but the first 1000 posts were nothing but name-calling, pissing and moaning, so, I might have missed it.

Ignore. :D
