Flopnuts have you heard anything else? |
Fescoe is saying he is luke warm on the thing, seems to blame Reid solely for the past 2 years being 8-8 and 4-12 in Philadelphia. Josh Klingler thinks he could be burnt out and needs a break. Pretty negative so far, they're acting like the fans that'll bitch about anything.

My problem with the Eagles the last 2 years was they threw a bunch of million dollar egos together instead of building a team
|
And lets not forget the resurgence of Tom Coughlin when he went to the Giants. Sometimes a changes of scenery is whats needed for a coach.

This has got to be the quickest a thread has got to 3000 posts, in a while.

Uh oh
@ChiefsInsider: If anything changed overnight between the #Chiefs and HC Andy Reid, I'd be shocked. I'm Told $$$'s in place! Match made in Heaven for KC! |

I don't think you can lay Michael Vick completely turning into a turnover machine on Andy Reid. I don't think you can blame Andy Reid for Desean Jackson playing when Desean Jackson wants to play. I think Fescoe is overhyping the Eagles talent. Saying that with all that talent you should be 13-3... obviously you didn't see the Yankees last year or the Lakers this year.

Dream teams tend to be nightmares one way or the other.

Oh, **** off Fescoe. He wants Holmgren. Reid is a ****ing younger version of Holmgren. What a dumbass.

I RT'd Skip Bayless yesterday on Andy Reid. The response: Skip's a blowhard. Point well taken (and agreed). |
Fescoe also was a Matt Cassel fan until about halfway thru this season

Fescoe is clamoring for Arians, who was my top choice until Reid came into play. I'd be fine with Arians, but he doesn't fit the mold of who Clark said who he was looking for.
Unlike some others in this thread, I think Reid fits the bill almost to a tee of what Clark said he wants. |

I think it's time the fan base got over the fact that this roster is full of talent. It just may not be so.:hmmm: |
So, Fescoe is saying that Pioli was in the interviews with Reid? They went on for like 9 hours...didn't read whole thread. Sorry if Q...

I'll be pretty shocked if Reid signs with this grease-fire of an organization. |

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...gn=Twitter_atl Andy Reid conducted a marathon interview with the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday about their head-coaching opening. Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com reported that the former Eagles coach met with Chiefs brass for nearly nine hours in Philadelphia. Top head-coaching candidates With plenty of coaching vacancies to fill, demand for talent is high. Check out the hottest names, like Oregon's Chip Kelly. More ... Reid texted Frank saying the meeting "went very well." Reid then flew to Arizona to interview with the Cardinals, which was scheduled for Thursday but could get pushed back to Friday after he arrived later than originally planned, according to the report. Early reports indicated that Reid was nearly a lock to end up in the desert, but the length of his meeting in Kansas City suggests he could be on the top of the Chiefs' coaching list, and that feeling could be mutual. Frank points out that Reid won more playoff games from 2000-08 in Philadelphia (10) than the Chiefs have won in their entire history (eight). We should point out that Reid wouldn't tell the media if the interview didn't go well. It could be a leverage play to extract more money or power from Arizona or another team. If there was any doubt, however, Reid's Kansas City interview cements the fact that he is one of the biggest fish in this market, and before the coaching carousel comes to a stop he could have his choice of seats. |

they got lucky this year, he crumbled against real competition like NE, Atlanta and even Houston. dont get me wrong, he's played amazing but .. AFC west was the easiest division this year, manning might win the bowl now but next year, things will be different. I could very well see KC winning the division next year if we get reid, anything can happen..look at redskins, seattle, colts. |

Everyone was linking me to some source because I had a guy whispering riddles in my ear, and I don't know anything. But I'm confident Andy Reid is going to be the next coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm also confident Tom Heckert is coming with him, and Scott Pioli is going to be shown the door. Sooner rather than later. Scooter is nothing more than a question answerer right now. And he agreed to do it, because he's got a lot of money coming to him from Clark Hunt as soon as he's done providing the information our new regime needs coming in. That's my two cents...

I seriously think Reid needed a change of scenery, I feel like if he comes here, he'll be a players coach but also get in they're faces and not fucck around, he knows when to draw the line unlike Romeo who's too nice of a guy. |
