Ok and…?

My point stands as everyone thought that was an atrocious performance when it happened.

If you want to retroactively act like it was a big win now because they beat an Alabama team that played like a D+ game go ahead…

He can't process plays, he's inaccurate, and now he's unwilling to run.

Unfortunately, when your head coach talks shit, teams are going to revel in beating your ass. Drinkwitz was fitted for a clown suit today, and his batting average on DCs looks to be getting worse.

I haven't seen such a gutless, uninspired gameplan on D since Herm was tying a Tampa 2 anchor to the Chiefs. How could you be so woefully unprepared and timid?

Brady Cook having a good 5 game stretch last season was the worst thing to happen to the team. I wish he would have just sucked complete ass and forced Eli's hand.

lol You aren't forcing that arrogant SOB's hand. He has made it personal with Cook, he is sticking with him no matter what, he's a fan hating POS.

Missouri’s offensive line was a significant problem in this game, but the quarterback doesn’t get a free pass. Brady Cook missed on two connectable deep balls early. He was too shaky, too often. He held onto the ball, resulting in sacks. He threw an interception that was dropped by MTSU. He didn’t have the usual verve or confidence as a runner. Late in the game he was tackled for a sack and fumbled the ball out of the end zone for a safety.

If Sam Horn did these things, Drinkwitz would be apoplectic, pointing fingers through the media, making snotty remarks to the media, and using Horn’s shakiness to justify Cook’s status as a starter. But if the more experienced Cook does it? Hey, nothing to see here, folks. That’s Eli’s guy. I don’t know if Cook can count on protection from his offensive line, but he’ll certainly be protected by the coach.

That was Bernie after MTSU last year. Same as it ever was.

Interesting.....Mizzou lost to a ranked team and moved down 13 spots....

Alabama and Tennessee both lose to unranked teams and stayed in the Top 10?

Not that I am trying to give Mizzou any support considering how pathetic they played ...but the fact that Alabama and Tennessee lost to unranked teams should have cost them more.

jjchieffan 10-06-2024 12:48 PM

True. Not to mention that they did beat Vanderbilt. They dropped out of the top ten for it being a close game. Yet Alabama actually loses to them and stays in the top ten. Crazy

I mean, if we're honest with ourselves, there is no more corrupt sport than college football. Preseason feelings have influenced countless national titles, and the officiating thumb on the scale is so prevalent it's just accepted as the cost of doing business.

Teams are given license to cheat and others are hit with the hammer of God for the mistakes of unaffiliated rogue actors.

Mizzou doesn't deserve to be ranked based on their play, but there is no internal logic from the voters other than favortism.

Missouri beat Vandy and dropped 4 spots in the AP poll. Bama lost to Vandy and dropped 6 spots.

Missouri just isn't in the club.

You think that might have something to do with Bama beating Georgia? You all are insufferable

They also let Georgia back into a game that they had firmly in their grasp.

No one is saying Mizzou doesn't deserve to be where they are based on their play. But they lost to a ranked team....both Bama and The Vols lost to unranked teams.

And let's not kid anyone....Georgia almost lost to Kentucky.
