When Darwin Thompson gets going we'll all forget who Kareem Hunt ever was.

Hunt is better than Williams. But they're valuable in different ways and you can't just say Williams is less valuable because he's not as much of an inside runner. It pains me to say it, but whik hunt allows mahomes to go more vertical, Williams would have been more effective last year if mahomes was more willing to take the checkdown. Williams brings more speed to the outside. He also, unlike hunt, is a natural receiver where hunt is a rb who catches passes. Hunt almost never lined up in the slot or out wide... He was primarily a backfield receiving option. mahomes needs to adapt his game a little bit and he will.

And Darwin Thompson has a chance to be pretty special where the combo of Williams and Darwin close that gap pretty quickly.

Hunt is way better than Williams which is why he started over him. Williams gets a lot of production because of Reid and Mahomes. Put him on another team he is average. Not to mention Williams fumbles way more than Hunt does.

But hey if you want to keep acting like Williams is just as good as Hunt go ahead if it makes you feel better. Some of us prefer to live in reality.

Hunt did not get into trouble in Cleveland. He didnt get fined or suspended. Some of you are worse than TMZ.

They didn't clearly make a mistake. Regardless of what side you're on with tyreek, trouble came to him. he's stayed away from bars and tried to stay out of trouble.

Kareem on the other hand creates the trouble. He had the incident with the girl. Didn't take it seriously enough and got in another fight a few months later. Other videos emerged of fights he's been in and he was still a regular at bars and clubs. He got cut... He's on a one year prove it contract with the NFL watching his every move, and he's STILL going to bars and getting into things. Just saw his last apology which sounded as empty as his other ones.

Dude is a walking time bomb. It's not a matter of if he gets suspended again, it's when. We don't need that kind of shit at a time when kc is already under the microscope for keeping tyreek. Unlike kareem, tyreek has made an effort to be here.

When is the last time a SB-winning team had an elite RB? It just doesn't matter. You win in this league by moving the ball through the air and getting pressure on the QB.

Seriously.....it's OK because he was a kid and the girl was being a bitch? If Hunt was smart, and evidently he wasn't, he would have walked away.

And the fact that he had another incident shows he has a temper that gets away from him. How long before someone on the field called him out on it in the middle of the game and he loses his temper ala Leonard Fournette.

Hunt is a great back....but his running style and his temperament will be his undoing. He is Okoye 2.0 whose career will be shorter because of it.

Oh and yes....before you rush to the keyboard to type it, yes I know that Tyreek is going to face someone else trying to get into his head on the field. That's where Andy and the coaches need to help him.

The one thing I agree on with you...the Chiefs should never have released him and ahould have put him on the Inactive list....and keep him from playing for another team as long as they could.

This X 1000

For me Tyreek is way under the microscope aand has to be a Choir boy this year. If he is then the shouting and gnashing of the teeth will subside.

Like you said...trouble will follow Hunt he has already shown it. His temper will cost him millions in dollars. If he had kept his wits about him, he would have been able to rake in money like crazy for the short time his career will be because of his running style.

Kareem lied to the ****ing team, and would have gotten away with it if the video hadn't been leaked. You have to set a precedent with something like that. There's no way around it.

Hunt got into a fight in Put-in-Bay Ohio months after the hotel incident. Drinking was likely involved. There's also video of Kareem being restrained from a fight in Vegas one month prior to the incident.

This isn't hard to process. Kareem Hunt knew he was in a PR situation and chose to go day drinking and getting in a fight just a few months later. Now he's suspended and the Browns stuck their neck out for him knowing he was on incredibly thin ice and he's even on a prove-it 1 year contract, and he gets into an incident at a bar. It doesn't matter if he got in trouble. The problem was that he was there.

He's still going to bars. Probably still drinking there. And because he's in Ohio, probably hanging around the same friends. How in the world can you act like that's not a big deal? If the threat of ending your career and a 1-year minimum contract don't create urgency to change, then what will?

Do the Browns have him listed on the roster as a Kicker?

Absolutely. He took pleasure in brutalizing the Donks, and I forgot how physical he was against the Bengals last year. In this offense with these players around him, he was one hell of an ascending player.

Absolutely this. Personally, I would have liked to have seen us suspend him without pay for the rest of the season, get him in counseling or whatever help he needed, and start fresh again this season. But I get it, and I'm fine with it.

While I suspect that Tyreek has been up front, open and honest with the team about everything that's gone on in his life since well before we drafted him, there's a very real possibility that Hunt's release impacted how he handled his own situation earlier this year.
