Gammons said on the radio that Indy had no answer for Foles. Foles puts pressure on secondaries where Alex can't.

I was thinking 'Nick-Folean Dynamite' after all the imbeciles proclaiming him as as the second coming of Joe Montana.

He better suit up and play next week.

But anyone who is OK with Alexs performance this season because of his stat line after watching today's game needs to get their head examined. What we saw today is we have exceptionally talented receivers who will get the ball if you give them opportunities to make plays. It's literally the one small element of Alexs game that would elevate him immediately. Hopefully Alex sits out one game as a precaution and Alex can see foles successfully take shots downfield.

Yes but the O-line is finally coming together for the first time in 3 years. Last 3 games we actually have O-line stability. we aired out the ball more today because the running game got shut down. Both quarterbacks got adequate time in the pocket which is a foreign concept for us. Smith is slowly returning to 2012 form where he was 70%, QB rating 106 with the Niners and didn't have to run the ball to get first downs.

Like I said, Foles did well because Indy planned for Smith.

And Foles looked much better.

I don't care what Gammons thought. I just re-watched the game without commercials and Foles simply hit guys who were wide open because Indy is pitiful. Only one throw that really impressed me but Kelce didn't complete the catch .

His biggest completion of the day was actually an underthrown ball caught by a smart receiver who tracked the ball.

Move along..

No question that a team that prepared for Smith wouldn't be ready for Foles. Completely different qbs.

You should be. It's a waste of time that I divulge in less and less.

How do figure that? He's never even ranked the top half.

Most QB rankings usually have him bottom half to bottom third as well.

Any time that a fan of the Chiefs is no longer subjected to the pedestrian ways of Alex Smith, it is very much a time to get excited.

If they start Foles next week, I may actually watch a Chiefs football game this year.

You've got to be kidding me. This isn't a protection issue. Its a mental issue and always has. The ol has been fine for 2 years. Much better than what most qbs deal with. In fact, if Alex Smith took actual chances, he could get rid of the ball faster.

Yes and no.
Raiders have a loss to us and their difficult games are back loaded this year.
