Kids need to be told no more often.

Not around here.

There are only a couple of kids in my neighborhood, unless you count the 20ish group, who are the ones shooting off fireworks.

I tell my kids no all the time. My son is pouting right now because I won't get him a membership to Wizards 101, an online game based on Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney.

My kids get mad at me and say I'm mean, I tell them...Yes, I am, learn that now so your life will be easier. ROFL

Good. Too many parents take the easy way out and give in just to make kids STFU.

We have kids and young adults shooting them off. I can see some at the park across the street that are probably in their early 20's.

I haven't let my son set any off and he is fine with that. He doesn't want to waste them so he can have more fun tomorrow night. Smart boy, that one is.

It is certainly a battle of the wills around here sometimes, but another thing I like to tell my kids........I ALWAYS win!!
