Different kind of tribalism LOL.

That didn't save Peters.

Aren't you defending those who label Odell a headcase and a problem child though? :hmmm:

You can pretend like he isn't but anyone with half a brain can see the guy has had issues.

O.city 03-28-2018 11:25 AM

Wasn't Kelce suspended a half in SD because he had a new years party in his room or something a few years ago?

Not sure where you're headed here?

I'm pretty sure it was the anthem stuff that sunk Peters. If it was just the on field issues, I don't think fans would have cared as much.

Well Bob Sutton may have had an issue with him, but his teammates were pissed about the trade according to Terez Paylor. The fact is people love to label certain players "problem child's" whilst giving a pass to others. And all I want to see is a level playing field, that's all.

It's pretty much insinuated right here.

And yes buggerdude, im sure there were some teammates that were mad about Peters being traded. You swear like Marcus had no friends on the team.

If he's a trouble maker then so be it. I have no idea.

My argument is that Kelce is NOT a trouble maker, and trying to conflate his actions with some of these other guys is beyond reeruned.

But let me guess, you think i have some double standard because Kelce is white, right?

Well, you're the one bringing up race, which says a lot about your mindset, not mine. Secondly the fact is Kelce HAS had various problems In his time with KC when it comes to self-discipline, just like Peters did. Yet one was shipped out and called a "problem" and the other was kept on without a word said. The different standards are clear whether you want to admit it or not.

O.city 03-28-2018 11:29 AM

So the Peters stuff was racial? I'm not following I suppose.

The anthem stuff was fuel to the fire. But he was getting shit before the anthem stuff. And it was the poor tackling effort (at times, even that was overblown) that people really ripped him for.

And then leaving the field even though he wasn't ejected. The tantrums....there was a lot for people to focus on.

I think that says more about said "problems" than standards.

Peters was arguably a better player than Kelce and yet was still traded for not a lot.

Probably says theres a lot of shit we don't know about there.

uh, huh. Right.

Go ahead then. Explain to me why you think they're treated differently by pretty much everyone. The fan base and the league.

He's had maturity issues like many young men have had. That doesn't mean he's a bad teammate or a "problem", that's what you're not getting.

And like I said, Brady is a proven cheat and has shouted down his teammates and coaches publically, is he a "problem"?

There was some stuff for the not tackling, but I think it all stemmed from the anthem stuff. A lot of people probably would say it didn't, but that's just my opinion of it.

The tackling stuff to me, meh, I don't really care about my corners being great tacklers. Sure it's nice to have, but the other things he was really good at were way more important.

The anthem stuff came first. THen all the other jazz happened and it was an easy outlet.

I dunno, you take a guess :D

It is pretty stupid that Brady can berate and go nuts on the sideline and he's a "leader" and fiery, but when another guy does it hes a "cancer".

But the world isn't one way or another.
