The Patriots. Blaming anything other than themselves.

Color me shocked.

Allen will probably start and play a few series, just to keep that streak going. Ironman!

He should play the whole game behind a back up OL!

A real leader would lead the backups into battle while giving the other starters a rest.

And if they don't let Allen play the entire game, go get Dan Campbell in the offseason so he has a HC with some balls!

lol your path to the SB goes through the Ravens and the 2 week rested Chiefs. why would you not take every possible opportunity to rest starters. you need every advantage possible! you're going to play against a team that is extremely good at winning games at the margins, you can't cede the margins before the game even starts

Dan Campbell would make Barkley set the rushing record.

He might even play for OT if Barkley comes up short in regulation.

He might just be handing the ball off to RB for a couple drives. Leave the game pretty early in first half.

Josh Allen is a pure stats QB.

Or, pad stats until the inevitable end

duncan_idaho 01-01-2025 03:20 PM

I mean, if you play Allen and are padding his stats as you do it, aren’t you risking the football gods making you pay?

Why expose your QB to injury in a game that doesn’t matter?

I can see letting him have a series to keep his silly streak alive, but it would be pretty silly to do something like the tush push or QB power while they do it.

Dude could blow a ligament in his leg while rolling out after a handoff FFS.

If Allen got hurt playing in a meaningless game, McDermott is fired, right?

Wouldn't a game started with no stats drop his average. New excuse for fans

RaidersOftheCellar 01-01-2025 04:32 PM

Didn't they confirm that he's only going to take a snap or two before he's pulled?
