I've been married since you were in grade school. I've been with her in a monogamous relationship since 1994. We have a great relationship, she's still hot and is a great chick.
That being said, they're an emotional species and even with our history together, (over 1/2 our lifetime) I still can't figure her out sometimes. Shit comes outta left field sometimes that boggles my mind.
My advice? Roll with the punches, duck and cover and hang tight. Her loopy moments will eventually get dialed down.
Shit happens but if you can show an ability to ignore or cope with the bat-shit crazy, she'll be very grateful and think that you're a cool dude worth some extra effort.

Let me qualify that last statement since I was have-asleep...

Lumpy is different than most. She is usually pretty even-keeled. We all have quirks and get moody. I got lucky, she pretty much let's me do whatever without bitching, (especially during hunting season).
We pretty much grew up together so we know each-other very well.

Here's an example.
My job has been causing me a lot of stress lately and I have suddenly had issues with anxiety and insomnia. The only way I can really relax anymore is to go down to the man-cave and just chill. When I need to do that, she never bitches about it and takes care of the kid until I have had some time to relax.
Also,
Every Saturday during hunting season I leave for the day and she has never really complained once about it. I know a lot of dudes whose wives would throw a shit-fit and threaten divorce if they tried to do that.
There's always the midget and pony to keep her company, though.

I don't know if any of you remember, but a couple weeks ago I was talking about this chick who I like who has a boyfriend...

So anyway, I felt like there was something between us a couple weeks ago. I didn't say anything, but I just knew.

Tonight I hung out with her again. She was with her bf too. When her bf got away from us she asked something to the effect of, "you like me don't you? If I didn't have a bf you would go after me?" I told her yes, but I like your bf too, so I won't. The night rolled on and it became more clear that there was an undeniable attraction between us.

Sorry, I was posting from my iPod and it was becoming tedious, so I just turned on my computer.

Anyhow...I went out with the girl I've been seeing for a while last week and I asked her where she wanted to go to eat. She told me the restaurant. It just so happens that this chick works at said restaurant, so in my head I was like, "**** yeah..."

I haven't actually seen either of the girls (the girl I am seeing or this new chick) since then. When I talked to her tonight she said that I was totally awkward so I told her that I was sort of nervous because I like her....

At the end of the night, we both got a ride home from someone since we were too drunk to drive (tonight). Her boyfriend was in the car with us. For some reason he took the front seat, so that left me and his girlfriend in the backseat. On the ride home she was laying on me (I had my arm around her) and she grabbed my hand and we were holding hands the whole way home (with her bf right in the front seat!) **** man, I don't want to impose on this dude's chick, but she obviously likes me and I like her.

When we got to my house, she kissed me again and whispered in my ear that if I want to see her that I know where to find her.

So I ask again...

Would it be ****ed up if I went for her? I know she has a bf, but to be honest with you, and I've never ever felt this way before, I knew I liked her at first sight. I didn't know her at all (I met her about a month ago). I never said anything to her because of her boyfriend, but all of the sudden she brought it up tonight.

I would feel awful going after someone with a boyfriend, but this girl has me wrapped up in her fist!

Let's say I really want to make a move and go after her. Would the right thing for me to do is tell her that I can't until she quits with her current bf or should I just go after it? I've never cheated on anyone and I've never been the person who is being cheated with. I don't know what to do.

So last night went to bed around 3:30. I woke up at around 4 am and was pissed off I couldn't sleep. I must have fallen asleep shortly after that. I woke up again and was ****ing pissed. Why couldn't I sleep? I rolled over and it was 9 am, lol. I was like...oh, I did sleep.

Got a ride to my car and came back home. Fell asleep again around 11 something am and slept til 4. I really ****ed myself on sleeping today. I am gonna take a melatonin and hopefully I fall asleep within the next couple hours. Today was so ****ing boring. I have shit to do tomorrow so that will be fun.

I've been having a tough time at work. We're a community center dedicated to helping Seniors and also to rebuilding NorthWest Independence. We're a non-profit, so funds are very tight. Unfortunately, somebody decided to break in a couple of weeks ago and stole our safe. So we bought a new one attached to a wall, and they broke in and stole that last night. I have a record and some people around my work are looking at me. I care too much about the place to do something like this. It pisses me off that I'm having to deal with this shit.
