That Philly poster said that the reporter there that talked with Reid asked him about QB and Reid said WE need to find one...the reporter followed with "that's not easy"

Reid replied with "they have the top pick"

How fitting that on he 30th anniversary of the last time we took a first round quarterback, we finally take another shot.

When we were talking about other coaches, I didn't want to hear about taking 2qbs early, but with Reid, I'd be fine taking a second QB in the third round.

No one knows how these QBs will turn out. Were Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, etc ELITE prospects? No

I dont know about that. I think one of either Wilson or Smith will separate themselves by the draft.

I hope you're right. I've seen nothing from either that makes me believe they'll be special in the NFL.

Again, admittedly, I haven't seen much but what I've seen is far from impressive.

Again, I hope I'm wrong.

Btw another name brought up that could be a GM option is Tom Gamble of the 49ers. Most bring up Heckert and Dorsey but supposedly Gamble is a option for Reid also.

At least you can admit that you haven't seen much of them. Better than Blackbob spewing all that "game film" bullshit

There was an article or tweet about that earlier that he was in the mix. Could have been a 1,000 posts ago, I don't remember. Don't remember what the source was either, so your welcome.

Yeah, let's compare Dan Marino, who was taken 30 years ago, and Tom Brady, who was taken 13 years ago, to 2013, where everyone and their mother has a draft website, complete with videos and summations.

The bottom line is that there are VERY few under-the-radar guys left. Wilson was shunned because of his height but he was still a 3rd round QB, just like Joe Montana and Jeff Hostetler, two Super Bowl winners.

Dorsey really intrigues me. Hope we can at least interview him.

IMO, it's WAY too early to make any kind of determination about any college player.

There is no Andrew Luck in 2013. There is no Robert Griffin III in 2013. Hell, there may not be a Ryan Tannehill or Russell Wilson in 2013.

I just feel it's way too soon to fall in love with some guy that may not be a legitimate NFL Franchise QB.

I can respect that opinion to an extent. It's when you get tards like TEX who bitch nonstop, "Waaaaaah we missed Andrew Luck! Why is it always the Chiefs? Booo hooooo"

That pussy shit is annoying as hell and just plain ****ing dumb. If TEX would sew his vagina shut and spend his available free time actually WATCHING guys in the 2013 QB class, he would see that there are plenty of excellent starters available to a team. ESPECIALLY a team drafting at #1 overall.

There's no Luck or RGIII? Guess what? There hardly ever is. If these TEX morons would shut the hell up and see that actually in terms of history, this is a very strong class of QBs, maybe they wouldn't sound so stupid and pitiful.

But that's what this Chiefs franchise has done to a lot of good men. Turned them into vaginas. Ah well.

Mother****erJones 01-04-2013 12:39 AM

Honestly i dont care who the GM is. Its about the coach, last time i worried about the GM it turned out like a dumpster fire
