A round 3-5 guy isn't likely to come in and start - Smith was an outlier.

I think the Chiefs still see Niang as the RT at least for this season. Wouldn't surprise me if we don't do anything with the line in FA minus Wylie re-signing and probably a mid to late round draft pick. Could be wrong, of course, but I do think Niang is our RT at the start of the season.

I think at this point I would just pass on Ingram. Grab Dunlap, draft a DE in the top 100 and then maybe one later.

Dunlap
Clark
Rookie
Danna
Kaindoh

It isn't the best group by any means but you can grab a guy off of the street closer to camp if you don't like how it's looking.

Dunlap does fit the larger sized DE's Spags has typically wanted

In the post you quoted I was referencing to Staylor and someone else telling me Robinson wasn't someone Veach would go for because he doesn't go for players that old.

Turns out that we were indeed interested so it was all Staylor trying to cope.

He hasn't historically handed out long term deals to players at his age. And just because we were interested doesn't mean that we were offering what the Rams were offering.

Worse? Meh. I'd say stagnant for the most part. Losing Ward stings for sure but Reid outweighs Mathieu. And I don't care about Pringle.

Bringing Wylie back keeps our offensive line intact.

So if you want to say worse by a small amount...sure.

LOVE IT! Hill, Kelce, JuJu

I say go ahead and sign Sammy on the cheap, draft a rookie and we are set!

RunKC 03-18-2022 02:33 PM

Looks like we’re done on offense. I think this draft will be pretty much a renovation of the defense.

I’m not in love with it, but I don’t hate it, either. It confirms the pattern of Veach signing younger players and gives us a possession WR with upside to help move the chains on the long drives.

Didn't overpay, Didn't commit longterm and addressed a need and yet people still bitch LMAO

The Franchise 03-18-2022 02:54 PM

Still interested in where that money is coming from.

Brown hasn't signed his tender yet. Doesn't count against the cap until he does.

Not true. Counts when tendered.
