Kindle Vildor is turning into a favorite sleeper CB. If he isn't drafted I'd love for us to grab him as a UDFA.

So digging Dobbins!

Grant Delpit should find a starting role early in his career as a versatile safety with big nickel potential. Could be a good move at 32-40

Say goodbye to Dirty Dan and get some cap space

I wouldn’t think the Chiefs would draft a RB in first round

Williams was a contender for SB MVP

They already have the best offense in the NFL.

They only have 5 picks. And Defense needs a lot of help.

Of course they want/could use help at OL, RB, TE, and even a WR

But defense really NEEDS or has serious question marks at LB, CB, DL, and S.

They will need to hit on almost every pick and hopefully find some undrafted gems regardless

They have a lot of weapons on offense.

They need more weapons on defense

A nice mixture of getting starters and filling holes at LB, CB, OL and RB as 4 of the 5 picks would be nice

Anyway, I can’t wait for the draft and am so excited to see them get some playmakers

Who could be our Fred Warner?

And I do agree with you. I can see it both ways. We FINALLY have a QB, who is the very best in the NFL. We could invest to help him with a pick in the first 3 rounds from now until he retires and I’d be good with it.

But I also see the other side too.

And if a balanced offense/defense is the goal, they have a way to go on defense.

Defense isn't as bad as you think. Over the last several weeks of the season we were pretty high on the list. I don't care to research it out for you right now.

In the playoffs vs Houston. Sure we were down 24-0. But that was more on the ST's than the defense. Could have been 51-10 before the Texans late mop up TD. And yes, Jones did not play that game.

Against the Titans we were up 35-17 before a late Titans score.

Held the 49ers in check for the most part too.

it's not like the defense has that far to go. Could that side of the ball use a player or two? Sure.

Offense is pretty fair too. Could that side use an upgrade or two? Absolutely.

This team is pretty solid. Both sides.

Wait, did I just go in a time machine back to the 2018 offseason?

Did the Chiefs not just win a SB and return 20 of 22 starters? Did the defense not hold the 49ers to 21 pts, well below their average, in that game?

No shit. You would of thought they were one and done in the playoffs with how people are panicking.

Honestly, it's an outstanding argument for BPA, as if we needed another one.

Yes. Of course, but also remember the Jags scored 26

The Ravens scored 28

The Lions scored 30

The Texans scored 31

The Packers scored 31

The Titans scored 35

And we also lost to the Colts 13-19

Our offense doesn’t have a problem out scoring, but defense could use help slowing down other offenses.

Having another year of players playing and understanding the defense should help improve also. They looked much better later in the year than earlier.

Much more balanced. But the Chiefs only dominate on one side of the ball.

Opposite of Frank Clark?

Terrell Suggs And Kpass, with talks of both being cap cuts.

Having Suggs on the other side is really what helped the defense later in the year

Finding his replacement could be just as big.
