Matheny has way too much of a no-hit, all-defense catcher mentality. He thinks that if you load the team up with your best OF in the late innings that balls won't drop. Meanwhile, he just cut the nuts out of the middle of the lineup with nine outs to go.

I'm assuming he's double switching OT in and putting the pitcher in the 3rd hole. Pinch hit with AJ when it comes up again.

I understand our bullpen has been pretty good but ya never know. 4 run lead with 9 outs to go is not a blow out, even against the worst team in baseball.
