He is also from the Giants, Jets, and Browns.... |

The 2005 Browns were the 11th best Scoring Defense in the league. Does Crennel get no credit for that? They were a middle of the pack defense (in terms of scoring) his last season in Cleveland. And, the fact that he previously coached in New England should be the dealbreaker and the reason why we DON'T hire one of the best available candidates for coaching the 3-4 scheme here in Kansas City? Okay. |

He realized something was up, did a quick search and found that I've said next to nothing about Crennell, (nothing more than that I'm not as excited as I am about Weis) and am actually pretty pleased about the Weis hire. Another classic case of lumping people together instead of actually reading and comprehending what people have to say. |
Why get experienced coordinators, when you can wallow in mediocrity?
It's a good move, especially considering the 2009 coaching staff. The idea is to IMPROVE, these coordinators, should help us in that area. |

Seymour may just walk through that door:
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 12, 2010 11:26 AM ET After a year spent in Oakland, Richard Seymour is headed for unrestricted free agency. He's open to playing for just about any team. Except the one that drafted him. "There's probably about 31 teams I'd consider going to," Seymour said in a conversation with Tom Curran of Comcast Sports New England. TC asked him if he'd take a call from the Patriots if they approached him. "That isn't something I'm looking to do at all," Seymour said. "But there's no ill will. I wish them the best. I really mean that. . . . I think it could have ended in a more respectful way, but that's just my personal opinion." Seymour certainly isn't at his career peak, but he'll be an attractive, experienced starting option for the many 3-4 teams in the league. (The Chiefs and Broncos come to mind.) |
Signing Seymour and trading Dorsey seems like something the current regime would do.

According to NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora, ex-Browns head coach Romeo Crennel is talking with the Chiefs about the defensive coordinator position, but no deal has been worked out yet.
There had been reports that Crennel would be joining the Chiefs' coaching staff, but it wasn't certain that he'd be taking over as defensive boss. Expect him to be signed shortly while Clancy Pendergast remains in limbo. http://twitter.com/JasonLaCanfora/status/7675155481 |

It's an obvious answer. I was referring to the Four Horsemen (you, Hamas, Mecca and Dane). The not-so-merry bunch of bitchfesters who despise just about everything this organization does. I'm not alone. There are dozens of posters who smell it on you. But point taken. You're happy with the hires. |
