I had Condit winning, but I don't feel like he got robbed.

That 5th round was God Damn madness

The difference was round 3. Lawler clearly won rounds 2 and 5 (round 5 was madness, Lawler went beast mode and almost got the KO), Condit clearly won rounds 1 and 4. The 3rd round was very very close.

I had round 3 for Condit, but I didn't feel strongly about it, so a SD is fine by me. That fight was insane.

That's why Pride scoring was better, IMO. Spiritually, that was a Lawler win. Just a very subjective opinion, obviously.

How the **** did Condit survive round 5? Jesus Christ.

Bad ass fight that deserves a rematch. Not a robbery but couldnt give more.than 2 and 5 to Ruthless.
Huge fan of both guys though. I think Condit could have won 5 but he wanted to mix it up rather than try to win the round. Hats off to him.

Carlos won that fight IMO but another example of the judges giving a close fight to the champ, I totally get it. Robbie is one of my fav. fighters ever but Carlos won that fight IMO...

Couple minutes into round 5 I was texting updates to my brother telling him it was a great fight but it looks like Condit was taking control and probably going to win a decision, and then.... Lawler just erupted. Again.

I don't know why I keep being surprised by this, Lawler always goes insane into beast mode late in round 5. Clearly took that round from his late eruption, and as it turned out, the fight since I guess the judges thought he won round 3.

Don't think they gave Lawler anything.

You have to look at round 3 and decide whether you give more points for less than full force volume striking for Condit or the bombs Lawler landed. I will always side with the power because it just does more damage, you just have to land it and he did.

Lawler bores the **** out of me though. I can't stand the way he fights just standing there for 95% of it.
