Sign Trumane Johnson and Trent Murphy. Acquire everything else through the draft.

I’d be ok if we sign Fulton, Daniel, Mitchell, a good LG and a guy like Kyle Fuller in FA and then draft almost all defense. Maybe a gadget guy to replace Thomas. I’m a gsmbler so I’d prefer Talib and Richardson/Wilkerson but trading Peters sends a loud n clear message that’s not in the plans.

If they dumped Peters for character issues no way in hell they are going to sign Richardson or Wilkerson.

Johnson will require a huge guaranteed portion and at 28, he’ll be on the wrong side of 30 when the Chiefs are ready to contend.

Murphy tore an ACL won’t be ready to work out for teams until after the season begins.

Veach is going to make this roster much younger, which means low effort guys like Richardson and Wilkerson likely aren’t in his plans, as they set bad examples.

Fuller and Attachou.

And Norwell and Marquis Lee on a one year deal, as Conley insurance.

Norwell is gonna cost a lot

I’d rather put that in the defense while Mahomes is cheap but there isn’t much to pick from on d

Avery Williamson is one good option

Left guard is the biggest need on offense.

I don’t care what he costs, get him.

Signing Norwell allows Veach to focus almost exclusively on defense, outside of a #2 and #3 QB.

Backup QB’s are no longer cheap, either.

Agree. I would go all out for Norwell. Protecting Mahomes is top priority. Build an OL that is a ****ing brick wall in pass pro

KChiefs1 02-25-2018 08:31 PM

The Texas punter is a stud.

And we also have the NFL rushing leader and Ware who can take a ton of pressure off Mahomes. I love the idea of spending money on a LG like Norwell.

He’s just gonna be expensive and I doubt they end up sinking that much more in that spot

I wonder if Veach tries to flip some of these picks for players.

So what’s the use of having $30 million in cap space if they’re not going to use it on starters?
