He was going to the ground. That changes what you need to do to qualify as a catch.

You can hate the rule, but he didn't catch it.

None of that matters if you don't keep control of the ball. We've seen that with Dez, Calvin Johnson, and numerous other players.

The receiver has to control the pass to the ground.

This. Great sport, horrid referees and inconsistent interpretation of shitty rules designed to maximize profits. See offensive explosion the last two decades since they started tinkering with the defensive rules.

If the Titans and Cowboys win, the Raiders are OUT

Great trade by the 49ers to get Garappolo.

Different team with him at QB.

Hell yeah. He's gonna be their Franchise guy for many years. They have to build up that OL again though. :D

There's a difference between being philosophically against the rule and determining if the rule was called correctly.

I think most consider it a shit rule, but it was clearly called correctly based on how it's written.

I think we all get it. Does anyone think this rule makes any sense?

kcpasco 12-17-2017 06:28 PM

Harris had possession in the end zone 2 feet down and the ball was stripped so they called it incomplete. I don’t want to hear any crying for the Steelers.
