The timing of this doesn't make sense. I'm sure the truth will come out at some point. My guess is Dorsey wouldn't commit and they decided let's move on now.

I like Dorsey but if he wouldn't make a commitment to the team and kept flirting with GB I could see how that would piss off an employer. Still a dumb move though.

The Chiefs will be fine if Mahomes pans out. The roster is fairly well built and young.

Clark has talked about continuity in the front office and coaching staff since hiring Pioli and Haley.

Again, if Dorsey wouldn't give the assurance that he wouldn't leave for Green Bay in the next 4 years, Hunt made the decision to cut ties and move on today.

It's a shame about Ballard but I don't think he was the only guy in the world that could replace John Dorsey.
