Yikes. No wrecks though... Surprising. I think they must be moving pretty slow judging by the people walking in the video. It just looks even worse sped up like that.

Would be fun to watch him be thrown into a lake with cinder blocks tied to his ankles. Just deep enough to watch him try hold his breath.

Is it more or less time efficient than using traffic lights? Are there more or less accidents as compared to normal intersections?

Watching the people cross the street was like watching a game of Frogger.

I think I saw a thing on Discovery channel or something similar once about a German town that took away all traffic lights and signs out of their city center. Apparently people slow down and pay more attention and the accident rate actually drops.
