But seriously, in 15 years Vermeil, Herm and Reid are going to share a bottle of wine in a dark corner of Philly and laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh about the millions of dollars they stole from the Hunt family.

And then Carl will walk in they'll laugh so hard they'll begin to cry.

L.A. you can eat a dick... you like to eat Matt Cassel dick!!! Your probably in the top 3 most pathetic posters on this board... that says a lot and it isn't good on your behalf.

If you are looking for good things about Reid, don't ask Eagles fans. This town grew to hate him for the most part.

I imagine the fact that he didn't win a superbowl in all those years is a huge reason for that, however, they're not seeing it from our point of view. The man's won more playoff games in 14 years than we have ever. We've been starved for success, with the exception of a few years sprinkled in here and there, since Marty left. We are ready to have a winner again.

Heres a fun one:

"He is NOT the answer. Are you a big fan of passing on 3rd and short or 4th and short? He is. Are you happy with no-name/no-talent linebackers. He is. Do you like to stick to the plan no matter how things are going in the game? He does.
When your team is struggling with the opponets, do you want your coach to devise some brilliant and novel strategies on the spur of the moment to win you the game? He won't. Do you want a brilliant clock manager? He isn't. Do you want someone who gives freedom to the players on the field or do you want a micromanager who keeps the offense plodding along even when it's hurry-up time? He is the latter.
Andy Reid is the Grim Reaper and we don't want him here. This is my worst nightmare. I was so hoping he would end up in San Diego so he could keep them down for a few years. He should have been fired five years ago. I would have loved to have seen some time with Donovan McNabb in his prime with a different head coach/offensive game plan. I think he could have been awesome.
Andy Reid looks good when his players win the game because they are better players. When you need gameday coaching and on-the-fly strategy, especially in the 4th quarter, Andy will fail. If the Chiefs have any success in the next few years, it will be because the drafts are great and the coordinators can do their jobs. I have no confidence in Andy
"

We got our linebackers :)

Carl was a Philly guy as well. Eagles and USFL Stars.

It's like having a hot female co-worker or friend that because you've known them so long, you know that their personality takes the hotness down significantly. To everyone else, they look like a solid 8 or 9, to you, with everything factored in, they look like a -8.
"

Wonder if these people were bitching when he took them to 5 NFC Championship games and 9 playoff appearances, including a superbowl appearance, in 14 years. Oh shit, of course they were, they're from Philadelphia!

I know! ROFL

But seriously, this should be a skit.

Just remember guys... when Reid is blowing games in the 4th quarter, making extreme head scratching decisions and blowing nearly every draft pick for the next 2 or 3 seasons Ill be here to defend him against you bandwagoners.

I would strongly disagree that he offers something.

I agree. Most won't look at it objectively, but it would be a good hire.

no idea why people get all bent out of shape over L.A his whole deal on this forum is to just troll and troll hard, yet people still think he's serious. lol Never ever take anything he says seriously. He's just trolling, come on peeps open your eyes. lol

tooge 01-03-2013 11:40 PM

We were saying the same shit about schottenhiemer when he left kc. He then took the chargers to the afc champ game and lost on a missed field goal. It's what happens when a great coach has been in one place too long. See also Shanahan, belichick, gruden. I like the thought of Reid here.

:shake:

Every coach makes a mistake. Hell Joe Gibbs made a blunder years ago against the Bills that cost them the game GTFO buzzkill
