anyone familiar with Xanax? My Dr. prescribed me some for sleep. I'm very leery of it from what I've heard.

Anti-Anxiety drug that makes you pretty tired. Be careful benzos are very addicting and i'd almost ask for something else because of the drugs addictive nature.

Benzodiazapines are no more or no less addicting than any other CIII - CIV. I see people addicted to Tramadol for cripes sake.

Seems like there would be better alternatives than Xanax for sleep considering Xanax has such a small half life and can be a bitch to get off of.

My doc has me on Trazodone since I have to sleep during the day. It's effective enough without being addictive.

Evidently it was a crappy and ineffective drug for depression but very effective for sleep.

Did any of you guys get it prescribe for anxiety? I had Klonopin it worked really well but when it wore off my anxiety seemed twice as bad. I avoided SSRI's for some stupid reasons.

That's weird you got prescribed xanax for sleep, unless you are thinking about depressing things and that's keeping you from sleep.

Those things are very addictive, I know from first hand experience. Hard to get off those things.

First of all, I don't think she's been showering as often, so there is one thing. Secondly, that whole part of her personality turns off when she is sick.

1.) Go wet a washcloth.
2.) Wait until she's sleeping.

No matter what I do, I can never stay up later than her. I've been with her for around 2.5 months now and I have stayed up later than her exactly once, and that was when she didn't sleep the night before.
