"A proposal by Dan Beebe to hold the Big 12 together with 10 teams is in play and being considered by Texas, sources say."

The logic that people think they know whats going on behind closed doors based on what they say in the media is much MUCH more baffling to me.

They were invited because 100 million idiots who couldn't find Nebraska on a map associate the word with winning football. Even though they haven't won shit in years.

I'm not so convinced that they aren't.

If the Big Ten expands to Sixteen i'm sure they'll get an invite. I just don't understand why are they so tied to the Big XII at this point? Who wants to continue to get ****ed by Texas?

I'm still not ready to start throwing dirt on the Big XII.

My Saturdays from here to eternity are now free. Enjoyed my time in AZ. Maybe I'll become a Sun Devils fan.

Or I'll clean my garage while USC rolls into Lawrence.

I don't think they're probably doing nothing in reality, but there's little they can say publicly at this point.

The statements about "you'd have to be blind, blah, blah, blah" are pretty much the only nuggets of truth that we're getting.
