2 first next year and gonna be a better QB draft

I guess they dont trust Jalen to tank them properly while stocking the cabinet for the new guy.

So the Saints want two first round picks?

Are they going WR and QB?

I tried to do the math here and just went crosseyed.

But it still seems like the Eagles got hosed here.

They gave up 2 firsts this year for a first this year, a third this year, first next year and a second the year after that? With some scrap thrown in.

So 2 firsts for an adjusted return of a first, a second (present value of a 1st next year), a third and a 4th (present value of a 2nd TWO years from now)? And let's just cancel the firsts out by swapping the 18 and 19 then deleting them outright.

The 16 essentially yielded a second, a third and a 4th.

This is a rat-****ing, no?

Seems to me like this is a straight up steal by the Saints.

God i'm glad we have QB1

ShowtimeSBMVP 04-04-2022 02:10 PM

According to the trade chart, the Saints have enough points to swap 16 & 19 to move up to 5th pick if they wanted to jump Carolina for a QB. Good - we want these QBs coming off the board. The sooner Willis comes off, the sooner Ridder comes off and the sooner Pickett comes off. Getting 3 of these QBs selected before 29 can really ease some of the pressure on DL and WR in this draft.

Maybe the Eagles don't like the top end of this draft as much?

The Eagles still got ****ed in value...but who the **** knows. That's a lot for the Saints to give up if they want to take one of these QBs.

O.city 04-04-2022 02:13 PM

So Eagles want more firsts next year. GIve Hurtz a year then have ammo next year to go get a QB if you don't like what you see.

The Franchise 04-04-2022 02:15 PM

I mean...if the Eagles got ****ed on value for that trade....

Do you think they'll take 94 and a 4th rounder in 2023 to move up from 29 to 15?

Saints first next year might be top 5 they’re gonna be awful.

Hell, offer them next year's first, one of our 3rds this year and the comp pick next year for 15.

I mean that's essentially what they got from NOLA for the 18.

What a terrible return.

O.city 04-04-2022 02:19 PM

Yeah, I'd guess they're banking on the Saints being awful and that pick ends up being like a #3

If you could turn that into Jermaine Johnson and still have 29 and 30 this year?

I'm not saying I would hate it.

Don't trade next years one, I've been told those are too valuable.......(jerk off gif)
