Seriously, why would you ever pay a RB?
Look at the draft and the league, every year. New RB's come in a play well, Old ones get broke. |
OBJ has stated he's not playing until he's got a new deal, and I believe he's foolish enough to actually follow through on that. I just wouldn't want to throw picks and a huge chunk of money at a guy like that when there are players in house that will command tons of money.

Other than Donald, and maybe the safety, who are they likely to give a long term deal to though?
They probably won't keep Peters unless he turns whatever supposed problems he has around. |

They can let him walk in 2020 and get a 3rd round Comp Pick for him and keep in mind, the Chiefs drafted Hunt in the 3rd and the Saints drafted Kamara in the 3rd. Good running backs aren’t irreplaceable. |
Even if they deem Gurley an irreplaceable part of the offense, you could tag him for a year or two and run the wheels off then let someone else pay him.

Shit changes so fast in the league though fellas. I think we as fans tend to worry to much about shit years away.
Hell, theres people here that are worried that signing Watkins will hurt the CHiefs when they have to sign Mahomes. I get it, but it's weird |

Oh yes, So they openly said, "HE WAS A BIG PART OF OUR OFFENSE AND HE WILL BE MISSED", and added that, "HE WAS TOO EXPENSIVE", but hey, they are so flush with money that they just let him go for no reason, right? :) |
