This Balor vs Corbin angle can kiss my ass. They bury Finn and **** em. As much as I like Owens, Zayn, Braun (getting too much hype currently. The whole flipping semis can suck a dick) and others, Finn is the show for my money. This is a waste of a match and airtime. **** Baron Corbin. He sucks.

They're totally ruining the Braun character for me. (Probably because they're having him kill Kevin Owens right now). I'd love to see an Owens win over Strowman at extreme rules but I don't foresee that happening.

Speaking of extreme rules - the match card looks piss poor. Maybe WWE is mailing it in until SS

I think they totally are. If the network wasn't $10 a month I'd dump it outside of 3 months a year. Luckily I can go through the archives and keep myself entertained during shit spells like this that justifies the $10. For instance, does anyone remember the Montreal screwjob in 1997? Of course you do. Did you know that team USA in the Survivor Series match came out to Kurt Angle's ****ing music? LMAO I didn't remember that until I watched it last night.

I didn't know those things either, but like you the only reason I keep my WWE Network subscription is the archives.

I cancelled my subscription when it was clear everything was a slow build for Ramen Reigns. All hail Ramen Reigns!

Finn Balor getting hurt at Summerslam ****ing killed him, H had to convince the **** out of Vince to give him a shot and that injury was enough for Vince to give up on him.

Swanman 07-14-2018 02:17 PM

ROH and New Japan are running MSG the day before Mania in 2019. With All In selling over 10,000 tickets in a half hour, that show has an ok chance to sell very well in MSG, especially if New Japan brings over a lot of the big dogs (Okada, Omega, Naito/LIJ, Suzuki, Tanahashi, etc). Cody and the Young Bucks are already ROH guys so they would definitely be there.

Speaking of All In, so far there are two matches: Cody vs Nick Aldis (formerly Magnus in TNA) for the NWA belt and Marty Scurll vs Okada - should be a fun match.

I'm only a casual fan at most. NWA is still a thing? In thought it became TNA

BryanBusby 07-15-2018 08:22 AM

TNA dropped the NWA part a long while ago and NWA was bought out by Billy Corgan after he failed to acquire TNA.

Extreme Rules veat my expectations, but my expectations was like WcW New Blood PPV levels. Outside of the Big 4, all the PPVs are just glorified House Shows anymore, and that's going to be a problem for WWE down the road.

On the flipside, they might as well just release Asuka.

In case you missed it, it's obvious that Vince and Dunn got a hold of the womens booking...the 2 women that exemplify everything the attitude era was for WWE women are the 2 with belts that keep beating all the women better than them...

BryanBusby 07-16-2018 05:19 PM

Well no, that was apparent long ago.

They've made significant investments and jacked off allover it afterwards for awhile now. That's why I hope people like Brock Lesnar hold them ransom for a billion dollars because they deserve it.

I thought it was worse than WCW level. Even the couple of matches I had high hopes for were made jokes of.

Seriously. Only WWE would be stupid enough to pay a guy like Brock Lesnar millions of dollars with the sole purpose of trying to make the fans hate him so much that he gets go away heat and the fans cheer Reigns when he beats him... even though they just tried that shit at Mania and it backfired in the worst possible manner.

pugsnotdrugs19 07-16-2018 05:52 PM

The product is shit, period.

Even the little things just baffle me with the company. For example, a team like Breezango. They were doing a great thing back a year ago with Fashion Files. It was fun and entertaining, at least in mine and many other people’s opinion. Then, poof. It’s like they don’t even exist anymore. I get it, not the greatest wrestling duo there is, but the point is that WWE had something that a large chunk of the audience actually enjoyed and they just swept it under the rug in favor of boring ass Big Cass or Baron Corbin promos.

That’s just one very minuscule example of the stubborn ignorance that company shows each week. They literally don’t do the one thing that they should focus on doing—listening to the fans.

Mecca 07-16-2018 05:54 PM

4+ years. It's literal insanity that they're still so hellbent on Reigns being the next standard-bearer for the company, even though the hardcores absolutely despise him and the casuals don't care about him since the product is at it's lowest viewership its ever been at. RAW last week was the lowest ever.

Sassy Squatch 07-16-2018 06:01 PM

He somehow still sells merch, which is why his push still takes place.

My favorite part of the entire thing is how adamant they are on that they don't care what fans think about him, but yet try every single trick in the book to get fans to like him. To top it off, the answer to their problems is right in their face (Rollins) and they refuse to do it.

Mecca 07-16-2018 06:08 PM

They really don't care, they have a base that never leaves and shiny new TV contracts worth more money. They sign all the best workers etc etc, Triple H does have a different vision than Vince watch NXT and that's easy to see...sad to say Vince dying or focusing on like the XFL could improve the product.
Posted via Mobile Device

BryanBusby 07-16-2018 06:14 PM

They're gonna have to care, because Fox is strongly expecting 3 million viewers regularly when Smackdown changes networks in a year and right now they are off by a million.

They will quickly move them onto FS1 or pull the deal altogether if Vince can't provide it. That's why I expect them to thumb their dicks till next summer and run around like crazy when it comes close to new TV deal time.

Even when Smackdown was on a local TV network (UPN), Friday nights were not kind to them. I wish them luck LMAO

Jerm 07-16-2018 06:53 PM

I've completely given up on the main roster product...just have the network for the vault and Takeovers but even that's beginning to be hard to justify.

I'm 100% all in on New Japan....

GloucesterChief 07-16-2018 06:54 PM

Lucha Underground has so much better booking than WWE. It is the simple things too like getting sympathy for Son of Havoc and then later Team Havoc or turning Pentagon when the crowd simply refused to boo him despite what heinous stuff he did. They even did that logically with Pentagon still having his violence prone ax crazy personality just going after the biggest baddest heels now.

All In is a couple days away and I can't wait. The card looks stacked.

Pre-show on WGN America:

Over Budget Battle Royal - Cabana, Romero, Punishment Martinez, Brian Cage, Billy Gunn and a bunch of others

Briscoe Brothers vs Scorpio Sky/Frankie Kazarian

Main Card on PPV:

Hangman Page vs Joey Janela - Street Fight

Stephen Amell vs Christopher Daniels

Womens 4 way - Tessa Blanchard vs Chelsea Greene vs Madison Rayne vs Britt Baker

Jay Lethal vs Winner of Battle Royal for ROH Title

Marty Scurll vs Kazichuka Okada

Kenny Omega vs Pentagon Jr

Cody vs Nick Aldis for NWA Title

Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi vs Rey Mysterio/Rey Fenix/Bandido

I read yesterday that they will put the entire PPV portion of the show on New Japan World right after the show ends.

It should be interesting to see how he does with Christopher Daniels, who is one of those guys that's been doing it for so long that he could pull a really good match out of almost anyone. They have been doing a good job building the match on Twitter and Youtube.

There are many impressive things about All In, but the one thing that strikes me is they did it with almost no paid promotion. They leveraged social media and their youtube videos to the max to get the ticket buyers hyped. It also helped that they had a ton of support from ROH, NJPW and other indies to let their talent do the show as well.

That whole group of guys is going to be offered ridiculous amounts of money by WWE if this goes well as far as TV ratings on WGN and PPV. This and the ROH/NJPW MSG show selling out as fast as it did while WWE tried to block it probably has McMahon flashing back to the territory days.

From earlier today. With the awful news about Reigns, this could very well be more than a rumor.

WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble.

I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are "refusing" to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.

FTR, the person who tweeted that also broke the news about Roman Reigns PED suspension.

I really don't think they want to pull out of a show that is paying 50 million dollars for 1 ****ing show.
