Dude, the Chiefs had local tv blackouts because they couldn't fill Arrowhead in '09-'12, and that's just the front page of a Google search.
When teams are bad, fans don't show up. When you've been as bad as the Bengals for that long, it's a battle to win fans back. A lot of fans refused to spend money on the team until they ended the playoff drought out of protest.
We have our bandwagon jumpers, just like every fanbase. I'm sure you're not a bandwagon jumper, though with your Hurricanes Avi and Miami, FL location.
