I'd take my chances despite how tough Buffalo could be in January playing the Pats round 1 here opposed to going to New England with a bye

Buffalo - Buffalo has a great chance to win this one
Miami - Miami has consistently upset them numerous times over the years.

For us to get the #1 seed, those things need to happen AND

Baltimore needs to lose 2 of these games:

@Bills #2 total defense..13th against the run
Jets #6 total defense...#1 run defense
@Browns #15 total defense...24th against the run
Steelers #5 total defense....11 run defense...this game will be very hard fought division battle.

It’s certainly not a gimme that they don’t drop 2 of those.

TEX is going to be pissed at you for being unrealistic.

Idk if the Chiefs can stop the run for a whole game but we know they can get up a few scores and that's the key to beating Baltimore.

So if we win out, the Pats would need to drop another one. Need the Texans to lose one as well. They have the Titans twice so hopefully they'll drop one there.

Ravens aren't losing 2 i doubt, but I just don't know that I see them being 14-2.

Need the Steelers and Bills to do some damage for us.

There is virtually no realistic scenario where we can get the #2 seed after taking another loss. As it is currently, our only path is to win out and hope the Bills take down the Pats also and the Texans drop one more.

The Titan loss really forced us into this very very narrow path to get a bye.

Frustrating to look at...we should be 10-2 and the 1 seed right now.

Still think the 2 seed is attainable, gotta be the goal now.

The Achilles' heel of the Chiefs is stopping the run. Looking at the four games that were lost:

Colts: Mack ran 132 yds
Texans: Hyde ran 116 yds
Packers: Rogers threw the final td but they did collectively run over 100 yds
Titans: Hill ran 157 yds

In playoff, teams will use this blueprint to go against the Chiefs.
