Then the rule is broken in my opinion, that’s been a catch as long as any of us have played football. He had control, knee down, stretch for the end zone, clears the goal line and the ball twists as he hits the ground. Incomplete 🤔

I don’t know, just don’t agree with the rule in the spirit of the game that’s a catch to me.

Possession and he touched the line with the ball. Two hands with control and he touched the line. It was a stupid as call.

What is a catch? No one knows.
Looks like your questions been answered, but per the rule, if a player makes a catch and is going to the ground, he has to maintain possession of the ball throughout the going-to-the-ground motion. So, in this case, he caught the ball but as he fell toward the goal line the ball hit the ground and he clearly lost possession; therefore, it's not a catch.
