Man, Pennel is just a giant of a man. What a great pick-up. We definitely need to bring him back.

Jonesy was damned near unblockable.

Suggs is just so, so smart and physical.

And Clark. Dude. Beast.

Suggs, Clark, Jones, Pennel>Bosa+whoever the other scrubs on the 49ers dline are.

Chiefs DE Terrell Suggs: This is one I’m throwing in there because A) He’s got Super Bowl experience (2012 with Baltimore) and B) I had someone point out to me how good he is in these spots. “Give him two weeks to know an opponent,” this person said, “and he’ll be telling the rest of the defense what’s coming.”

That's an awesome little story about Suggs. He could be a major X Factor in this game.

My God these 49ers fans are dipshits.

Mahomes is a one read qb
Chiefs have a bottom 5 run defense
Mahomes was shut down by the chargers so he can't stop San fran
Just hold him in the pocket. Hes bad when he can't run

It reminds me of the days arguing with rams fans who only pay attention to the game on Sundays

This team has silenced a lot of trolls this year. Only 1 fanbase left to shut up.

This is why Clark said 12-15 months....

Seattle was 1 inch from winning the NFC West in spite of what you already mentioned. Niner fans gloss over that and all their last second wins. They are not the juggernaut that dominated everyone like they are trying to get people to believe.

They don’t read keys on their defensive line, they’ll just shoot off the ball and be aggressive for better or worse. It should definitely present some opportunities for Mahomes to get outside of the pocket.

And for Andy to kill em with the screen/misdirection game

he will be 29 in May so I wouldn’t guess he’d get more than a 2 year extension for 3-5m per.

That would be amazing if they get a deal done early. That’s doubtful, though.

The Niners defense is overhyped. Not saying they aren't really good, but they aren't the '85 Bears.

Just look at the Saints game. The Saints offense began the game by scoring TDs on their first four drives. Jared Cook scored the first two TDs. Is Jared Cook better than Kelce? Brees better than Mahomes? Right, if they can shred the Niners D at will, Mahomes and Kelce will be torching them for several TDs.

And the Saints lost Cook to a concussion early in the first half. If Cook had stayed in the game, they would've probably scored 50 points on this "1st ranked defense." Kelce is going to feast on these guys.

And our OL is far better than the Saints OL, and the Niners never got to Brees. Not once.

And our defense is better than the Saints unit. Far better than the laughable Falcons unit that held the Niners to 23 points. I think the Niners will maybe score 3 TDs. They might get another if they resort to another set of trick plays the way they did against the Saints. But overall, they won't be able to stop Kelce, might give up at least two to Hill, and we know what Sammy Watkins does in the playoffs. He only scores TDs.

Our OL probably won't give up a single sack. Mostly because we won't have to convert more than a couple 3rd and longs. So Ford won't be on the field, and as we know, their DL doesn't generate very many sacks if Dee isn't on the field.

As long as our team plays their game and they don't come out too tight, the Chiefs should win this game going away.

How have 9ers fans been rationalizing getting beat by the shitty ass Falcons at home in December?

Considering his career journeyman status it should be easy enough to pull off, he’s just proven to be such a great fit here... it’s gotta get done one way or another

Yep. The 49ers D is a completely different style than Pats' D which did dominate us for a half last year. I think the Saints game is a good example of what happens to this D when they can't get to the QB fast enough.

Given some of the slow starts lately, I feel like the Chiefs are due for a fast start. Hopefully they bring it full force!

I do as well. I think if they can jump out to a 14 point lead the game would be over. The Niners don’t look like a team built to come from behind well and putting the game on the shoulders of Jimmy G is a bad idea.
