One-read QBs don’t have a 1 percent INT rate. They also don’t manipulate the defense with their eyes.

And the numbers clearly refute the “not good in pocket” remarks.

Yup, pff has already shown that mahomes throws a league average number of "next read" attempts and has an excellent qb rating in those situations. Lamar, as expected, was top 4 in terms of first read attempts.

James Palmer just did a report on Suggs and apparently Daly told him that he has made a huge difference with his film study. Said he has came in and found tells based on little things he saw on film, and that the extra week really helped that.

This could be a really big boost.

I'll refer back to s Chief's schedule that was very weak.

Look both schedules up.

I'm sure you won't.

Sorry, I was too busy looking your mom up...but the line was too long.

Seattle had Wilson and Metcalf, that's it. They were beset by injuries or they would've won the division...

Without Hill and Fisher

Seahawks offensive line is trash, so I doubt Mahomes will be forced to run as much as Wilson, but if he chooses to run it will be because there are huge running lanes to be had.

Russell Wilson had his best rushing game of the season against the 49ers in week 10. They don’t read keys on their defensive line, they’ll just shoot off the ball and be aggressive for better or worse. It should definitely present some opportunities for Mahomes to get outside of the pocket.

This game was hilariously. It felt like every other play Russ was bailing for an 8+ yard gain.

Side note, I thought Wilson looked crazy slow on most of those runs. I'm not sure if I was seeing things wrong, he was tired, or maybe just being week 17 he wasn't feeling so spry. Maybe age is affecting his wheels a bit.

re-watched the Titans game, paying close attention to the Chiefs defense.

Man, Pennel is just a giant of a man. What a great pick-up. We definitely need to bring him back.

Jonesy was damned near unblockable.

Suggs is just so, so smart and physical.

And Clark. Dude. Beast.

Pennel definitely needs to stay. Wonder how much it will cost?

From Albert Breer:

Quote:

Chiefs DE Terrell Suggs: This is one I’m throwing in there because A) He’s got Super Bowl experience (2012 with Baltimore) and B) I had someone point out to me how good he is in these spots. “Give him two weeks to know an opponent,” this person said, “and he’ll be telling the rest of the defense what’s coming.”
