It woke me up and pissed me off. I didn't recognize the number and I don't know a single person named Shabron.

So I told this girl today to leave me alone. Just get the **** away. She was up in my face licking her lips trying to put her hand on my leg. I felt bad telling her to get lost, because we're kinda friends and we go way back, but I can't have this going on right now. Too much other shit to worry about.

Damn, that's kinda rough. I'm not stupid.
I've been playing for a long time, and no serious injury. And we hit each other hard sometimes. The fatter kid in our group sprains his ankle every now and again. It's good exercise. I play about three days in a week, then take a week or two to heal up. I usually play flag during the healing time though if it's just bruises. |
Usually when we get somebody new to play tackle, they think we're joking. Then they think we're going to go soft on them. Then they start to get into it and have fun. Then at the end, they either ask us when we're playing again and where, or they leave crying because they tore their pants or got a booboo.

The worst part is that it is one of my best friends so I couldn't just dip out and never see him again, although my friend was cool about it and took responsibility.

Well yeah, it was on him. He was out there. But it's gotta be a rock in the gut to do that to somebody. Nobody I play with has ever broke anything. My brother used to take some bad hits to the head and couldn't see anything but black dots a few times. We broke a guys arm once in a pick up game, not sure how he recovered, didn't really know him.
