I know Buffalo Fan hates Gabe Davis, but that video has sold me at least a bit on giving him a smallish deal to get him a SB.

Is he going to be cheaper than MVS? Because that's basically the role he'd be serving.

Painful? That sounds fun.

Painful? That sounds fun. Thomas is a huge ego jerk, and Bruce Smith played on a Rascal Scooter for years just to catch Reggie White.

They seem to hate him because of his issue with drops. Not sure that he would be a good fit here since we have plenty of those receivers already.

rfaulk34 02-05-2024 08:50 AM

I thought i knew it all but didn't even realize, until yesterday, that the Chiefs beat the Bills to get to SB1.

Depends. Are his drops to the ground or does he set it like a volleyball player to the other team's defense?

We need a new logo for buffalo that is just a graphic of a Field Goalpost showing the trajectory of the ball going wide right. And it just says "Buffalo" below the graphic. I would buy that shit on a shirt.

That's from the 90's kick. It's dubbed over this latest version of "wide right".

RedinTexas 02-08-2024 08:41 AM

They've been pretty melodramatic about that missed field goal. They act as if it would have won the game. It would only have tied the game and put the ball in Mahomes' hands with nearly 2 minutes remaining. Bills fans struggle with reality, but they need to temper their whining with some cold hard facts.

What it would have won them is an opportunity to watch Pat Mahomes drive down the field and put yet another bullet in their dreams. Either way, they were dead.

Funny you say that. Some recent posts from their board.

Josh Allen is the ONLY player in the NFL who can take over a game.

I give Mahomes loads of credit, but he's no Allen. Allen can be a bully.

Allen under Reid would have 4SBs and multiple MVPs.

Mahomes kicker made the kick from slightly closer, that's the only difference between them in that game.

They also think Allen is better than Mahomes, they have more talent than KC, oh and because KC beat Baltimore then they also would have after complaining how beat up their defense was.

4 SBs?? Multiple MVPs??

Holy crazy batman.

They clearly have no feel for the intangible aspects of a QB. Just cause JA throws it far and can run like a RB doesn't mean he would win or be better with Andy. LMAO

IIRC, it didn't matter that he dropped that pass as they moved the ball down the field and got there anyway. Maybe, I'm recalling this incorrectly, but why piss and moan about that dropped pass if you overcame it anyway?

That guy's entire account revolves around Josh Allen being better than every other QB in football and the fates conspiring to deny him a Lombardi.

This tard has been trying to talk people into Allen being better for years.

Just crying out for attention during Super Bowl week as usual because his team and QB can't ****ing get there.

The irony is if Toney just lines up right, they don't even make the playoffs. If he wants to play the what if game.

Rainbarrel 02-08-2024 10:03 AM

Allen credited wunderlick 37, Lamar 13
Lamar has better football smarts

Wouldn't there have been plenty of time for the Chiefs to score a TD? When Buffalo couldn't stop them all game...

No kidding. It's been an amazing year for us as all of our WR's and TE's have caught every pass that hit their hands and most certainly didn't bobble them up in the air to be converted into a pick 6 for the other team.

ptlyon 02-08-2024 10:29 AM

Not in his view, anyway. AND ALLEN HAS MORE RUSHING YARDS!

And is probably sitting on a beach somewhere in Jamaica.

The really funny part he left out was that later in that drive, Allen missed a wide open Shakir in the end zone. Underthrew him by 3 yards. That would have been a touchdown and a 4 point lead with 1:55 left in the game. You would think a good QB would make that throw.

I've seen Allen do it before atleast in that scenario. Other Qb's seem to just wilt in the fourth quarter against Pat.

RealSNR 02-08-2024 10:47 AM

I kind of like that Allen wins his regular season matchups against Mahomes and then shits the bed when he faces him again in the playoffs.

Gives hope to the Buffalo douches in the media. Makes the crash down that much more glorious

I would bet the Raven fans were hoping to play Buffalo instead of us. Lamar would have tore up that defense the next week, especially with the injuries Buffalo had on defense. We matchup much better against Baltimore than even a 100% healthy Bills team does, so there's no way they were getting to the Super Bowl.

Miami wilted, they made the playoffs, McDermott saved his job. The 15 other AFC teams are thankful for that. Hamlin making come back player of the year is their dream now

Hopefully they play us in the AFC title game.

Get him past the divisional so he can stick around one more year.

Funny how they've been comparing Allen to Mahomes all these years and they're sssoooo ****ing desperate to crown Allen, while at the same time losing their grip on reality as the years go by and the what-ifs pile higher and higher.

We'll be right back here next year, cherry picking regular season stats and saying "if Allen finally beats the Chiefs this one time, can we say he's better than Mahomes now?!?" ROFL

It’s funny watching some pretend it’s just now that they have been discussing him as better. It’s been years that they’ve said Allen is better and yeah your observation that they are just sticking with it even as the L’s and unappealing facts like up is pretty amusing.

A few years back Ravens fans would talk about Lamar being better but at least they abandoned that some time ago.

They can say it as much as they want and believe it as much as they want, doesn't matter.

Only things that matter are Lamar Hunt trophies, Lombardi's, and rings.

Yeah, and on a larger scale (not just divisional wins, lol), I saw a McAfee bit the other day answering some dumb question about "does Mahomes get a pass of they lose" and also saw a 49ers fan whining about how Mahomes will get all the credit for a win and none of the blame for a loss.

And McAfee's response was perfect, mentioning what he's accomplished by 28yo and he's already an all time great QB.

Not even sure what "getting a pass" means in that context, people are so damn desperate to dismiss what he's done if he doesn’t win ever single Super Bowl... it's nuts.

There's no active QB who compares to the guy, no matter how much they want it to be true... and he can only build on his legacy at this point.

Based on the logic of trying to criticize Mahomes for not winning every single game, Tom Brady is a failure for “only” winning 7 titles in 22 years as a starter. That’s 15 years where people can try to take shots at him for not winning.

Pretty sure he got a lot of blame for the AFCCG loss to the Bengals.

Bills love to say Mahomes was gifted the 13 second game, Allen outplayed him and left the field a winner, McDermott failed, etc. therefore he shouldn’t have made that AFC championship.

They never seem to want to acknowledge that we were much closer and more assured a victory against the Patriots in the AFC championship to reach the Super Bowl than they were to winning the 13 second game.

I mean, one could argue that Josh Allen was GIFTED success with the Chiefs only 2 good DBs, including the signal caller, injured in the middle of the game.

Or when he had a WIDE open TD pass to take the lead inside of 2 minutes because a defensive back literally fell down during the backpedal.

If you rewatch that game KC was firmly in control most of that game.

Yep. Mahomes outplayed him. ESPN QBR agrees with that take as well. I like ESPN's QBR metric because it accounts for rushing stats and so forth. It also accounts for strength of opposing defense if I am not mistaken. They graded Mahomes 97/100 and Allen 92/100. Both were awesome in the game, but I think Mahomes had the tougher job of the two guys...

Mahomes was going against the #1 defense, while Allen was going against a pretty average defense that also had some injuries which made his job even easier than it was already gonna be in the first place.

This was really good

The insights from a defender on how Kelce catches then runs low and defenders just bounce off him is great as well as the recognition of the Mahomes/Kelce chemistry. Confirming that Kelce is freelancing out there and how hard that is to defend

His commentary about Pacheco and how its going to take 2 or 3 guys to get him down is genuine

TLDR: he picks the Chiefs

Respect to Poyer and also **** him
