Earl Thomas just tweeted then deleted "Just Landed in Dallas".

Richardson would be fine. Meh on the rest.
|
Yeah, I'd like Richardson or Wilkerson.
|
The softest d line in the league could use 2 of them. Sorry, you guys may not want poe or Wilkerson, but they would be a huge upgrade over the shite at the position last year. Logan sucked worse than any of them.
|
Bring Poe back and start him at DE.
|
Get Poe, Richardson, and Watkins

Then draft defense primarily. |
I’ll gladly take Watkins, Richardson or Wilkerson and Poe.
|
If we can make it work for the cap....I want:
Watkins or Richardson Tre Boston Wilkerson or Richardson |
I don't see why people are excited to bring back a player that couldn't handle the snap count when they were last here.

Sutton and the word rotate? LOL funny joke

I don't really get too wrapped up in how much a player costs. It's not my money, i don't give a shit.
But i do care about cost vs performance, obviously. Sammy Watkins doesn't strike me as money well spent @ $14M +. What do you call a talent that's never lived up to his ability? Because that's what Watkins is. |

What are you expecting from him? Averages 16 yards per catch when healthy. Averages a TD every other game including the lost season. This team needs someone like him or Robinson - a legit red zone threat - because right now, this team sucks a HUGE bag of dicks in the red zone. And they could certainly use a legit WR beside Tyreek. I agree, $14M per is a bit high. But if Veach thinks he's worth it, I'll trust. |
For 14 to 16 million I want more than 1000 yards in 2 years and a better than 55 percent catch rate.

Bring back Poe **** it.
We need MAJOR defense help. |
Poe hasn't been good since 2014

Nothing will change for me if we do sign him. He’s nothing special imo. |

An player that is clearly declining, probably because he’s lazy. |

Spotrac has us with about $27.2M in cap space.
|
Any news on specific D Lineman we are looking at or is it still just generic interest in the position?

There will be 2 mil in dead cap, but we set to save 6 mil by cutting Bailey. That’s a no brained if we sign Wilkerson or Richardson

Give me Watkins, Richardson or Wilkerson, Poe, EJ Gaines & Daniel & I'll be ecstatic.
Go get a safety, LG, slot WR & LB & maybe a TE & another CB in the draft... |

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, South Florida is 6'3" and had one of the fastest 40 times at the combine. Plus, he has a hyphenated name like Juju Smith-Schuster. Of course, I defer to the Chiefs' scouting department to pick the right late round guy. |
Based on what we’ve heard today, here’s my prediction for the Chiefs:
Sign: Watkins, Richardson, Lotulelei, Daniel. If necessary, they’ll release Bailey. |
I have a feeling we'll be outbid for Watkins by the Bears.

That dude on Twitter who said his ‘source’ told him Watkins was coming here for $46M/3 yrs also recently said that they want to sign Kyle Fuller to an offer sheet. FWIW.

so is $14-15 mil the starting price to negotiate with Sammy?

That dude has to be full of shit right?
|
We’ll see in 48 hours

Has that guy ever broken anything before?
|
Can I change my dat jersey to a Beckham one?
|
Bruce Ellington would be a great replacement for Albert Wilson if they don’t want to go through the draft.

La canfora saying the market not as strong as some thought
|
“Rams got him 4 weeks before Week 1, threw him into highly-schemed offense & just never gelled with Goff. Most importantly, stayed healthy. Still only 24. Awesome player when he's drawn lots of targets.” - Evan Silva on Sammy Watkins
This is what I’ve been trying to say, and Silva is a third party opinion. He doesn’t have any bias. Watkins is so much better than most people realize. And he’s going to get nothing but 1-on-1s in this offense. |
