Skip Bayless is a ****ing idiot.
|
It's great that everyone knows how much failure KC has been through. It ups the pressure even more.
The NY Giants won the same amount of playoff games in their 2 most recent Superbowl runs. 2 years vs. 53. **** |

@Chief_Wildcat I think Andy Reid is one if the greatest coaches of this generation. With a QB, he would make KC a winner immediately Brandon Spano Show Brandon Spano Show @BrandonSpano Kansas City automatically becomes a force. Automatically. The question is.. Is there a QB in the draft that can even be coached into success |

We've heard all of this bullshit before.
"Instantly a force" "Immediate Winner" I will believe it when it translates onto the field. |

Bayless does anything he can to not mention anything about KC. He's always done that shit.
Here's what he talks about all day : LeBron and how much he hates him. The Cowboys. Durant. Everything NFC East. That's about it. |
I think coaching in a town like Kansas City (after all the years in Philly) with a guy like Geno Smith would rejuvenate Andy. The fanbase would be, too.
No doubt Id buy season tickets. |
Arrowhead would surely be rockin.

Andy not only realizes the importance of the quarterback position...he understands the importance of offensive linemen and wide receivers, too.
Getting Bowe and Albert signed would be a priority. |
God, there are gonna be so many rednecks growing mustaches this year!

Strongside, start photoshopping huge mustaches on key members of our football team.

Question...
Lots of us (myself included) think this team has a lot more talent than it showed because of quarterback and head coaching deficiencies. What if Pioli stays on in a limited role FOR ONE YEAR to see how the talent does with a quality head coach with the understanding that Reid has final say? I'm not sure I would want to box my Chiefs stuff up quite yet if that happened...Id probably give it the benefit of the doubt. Id be happier if he were gone altogether, but I could see the reasoning for something like that happening, too. Lets say Reid comes in and coaches up all this talent and the team blows up...those are still Piolis players...maybe Pioli is just peter principled as the total football control level and would be effective in a diminished role. |
No, BossChief. NO.

BAD BOSSCHIEF
|
I'm not sure it's time to start growing the walstaches, but it's definitely true that going from Roleo to Reid would be enough to give Chiefs fans a rug burn.

It was hard to type that with a straight face. |

I imagine Morninwheg would be somewhere on the staff but Chilly would be a better choice, IMO. Reid had his best years with him as his OC. |
look at that ****ing gaze
Cassel will retire immediately. |
I was gonna try to pull a LA, but I just dont have it in me to follow up.
|
Reid wanted the Eagles to take Albert if memory serves...so he will definitely be re-signed.

Should be interesting to see if Stanzi makes the team with Reid as the HC.
|
I'm going to go full on homer......but Reid is signed and Pioli is fired. We re-sign Bowe and Albert. DRC and Byrd are signed as FAs. Geno is drafted #1.

If Reid hires Chilly and Shurmur, I'd expect Morninwig to be Assistand Head Coach/Offense Quality Control or some shit. I doubt he'll leave him out in the cold. I suppose he or Shurmur could follow the Walrus, if he's hired as a head coach but Chilly, IMO, is a must have. |

Stanzi should be gone IMO
|
The cap space is there to make a lot of moves...especially after Jackson and Cassel are off the books.
|
The only downside to this hire is going to be battling with dumbasses who think Reid is going to turn McCluster into a stud playmaker.
"The WCO is perfect for Dex!" |
Tom Coughlin's last 3 years in Jacksonville: 19-29 combined record (zero playoffs)
Andy Reid's last 3 years in Philadelphia: 22-26 (0-1 in the playoffs) Change of scenery + being able to draft a QB #1 overall (the Giants acquired Eli Manning, during the offseason Coughlin was hired in NY) definitely helps. |

I was actually pleased despite having my doubts about Geno's actual arm strength in the NFL. McCluster, however, I could totally see having a role in this offense, unless Wylie proves to be a better slot guy for us. Dexter is just a playmaker, and you can't take that away from him. If given the right opportunity and the right role, he'll make something out of it week in and week out. He just doesn't have the speed of Charles or the size of Bowe/Baldwin so he's kind of a "WTF" in this offense, but the numbers don't lie, he's productive. I'd like to see what Andy Reid could do with him honestly. |

I'd much rather see another WR via draft or FA than to spend another season trying to figure out how Dexter Mccluster fits into this picture.
He doesnt......that's that. Time to move on. |

McCluster doesn't make people miss, nor does he come out of the backfield you idiot.

San Francisco, first Dexter McCluster highlight that popped up on youtube for me. Faked handoff to McCluster (out of the backfield), pass to McCluster, Missed tackle, Touchdown. Eat a bag of dicks, you are wrong, get off of CP now. |

Am I the only one who can see Andy Reid drafting Tavon Austin and turning him into the next DeSean Jackson?
That would be so amazing. |

Dexter McCluster was taken before Daryl Washington, Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and so many other significant NFL contributors. He was a shit choice and will never live up to his draft status. Plus, he's a ****ing twerp that can be tackled with a hang nail. **** 'em. |

We took him, get over it. I don't care if he never lives up to his draft status, he's a playmaker and he's pretty ****ing effective from any position on the field, and you'd have to be a complete idiot to deny that. He'll have a place in whatever offense we run next season, no doubt about that. |

They enjoyed each other's company so much that lunch out was cancelled and food catered in. Reid postponed his scheduled meeting with the Arizona Cardinals until and will reportedly chat with the Chiefs again tomorrow. |
I would think that Spagnuolo might also come if he's let go. I don't know what Carolina is doing as they had a head start on GM but if they dump Rivera that might be nice.
Childress and Morningweg would both be decent OC's. |
