Ha, we hardly were in a sentence or breath when they talked about Andy Reid. They were sure he is going to AZ & we didn't have a chance.

I think coaching in a town like Kansas City (after all the years in Philly) with a guy like Geno Smith would rejuvenate Andy. The fanbase would be, too.

Lots of us (myself included) think this team has a lot more talent than it showed because of quarterback and head coaching deficiencies. What if Pioli stays on in a limited role FOR ONE YEAR to see how the talent does with a quality head coach with the understanding that Reid has final say? I'm not sure I would want to box my Chiefs stuff up quite yet if that happened...Id probably give it the benefit of the doubt. Id be happier if he were gone altogether, but I could see the reasoning for something like that happening, too.

Lets say Reid comes in and coaches up all this talent and the team blows up...those are still Piolis players...maybe Pioli is just peter principled as the total football control level and would be effective in a diminished role.

If Reid hires Chilly and Shurmur, I'd expect Morninwig to be Assistand Head Coach/Offense Quality Control or some shit.

I doubt he'll leave him out in the cold. I suppose he or Shurmur could follow the Walrus, if he's hired as a head coach but Chilly, IMO, is a must have.

Change of scenery + being able to draft a QB #1 overall (the Giants acquired Eli Manning, during the offseason Coughlin was hired in NY) definitely helps.

The WCO is perfect for Charles, especially after those assholes made me watch tape after tape of Geno and I sat there and envisioned how Geno could fit with our skillset in a WCO.

I was actually pleased despite having my doubts about Geno's actual arm strength in the NFL.

McCluster, however, I could totally see having a role in this offense, unless Wylie proves to be a better slot guy for us. Dexter is just a playmaker, and you can't take that away from him. If given the right opportunity and the right role, he'll make something out of it week in and week out. He just doesn't have the speed of Charles or the size of Bowe/Baldwin so he's kind of a "WTF" in this offense, but the numbers don't lie, he's productive. I'd like to see what Andy Reid could do with him honestly.

Obviously Woodhead has slightly better numbers than McCluster in that offense due to the number of HoFers there, specifically the QB.........but I could see Reid utilizing McCluster as much or more than we have so far. He's actually a pretty damned good receiver out of the backfield due to the fact that time after time he usually ends up making the first guy miss with how little he is.ROFL

Andy Reid chatted today for nine hours with a contingent from the Chiefs that included Clark Hunt, Mark Donovan and reportedly, Scott Pioli.

They enjoyed each other's company so much that lunch out was cancelled and food catered in. Reid postponed his scheduled meeting with the Arizona Cardinals until and will reportedly chat with the Chiefs again tomorrow.

I would think that Spagnuolo might also come if he's let go. I don't know what Carolina is doing as they had a head start on GM but if they dump Rivera that might be nice.
