Completely agree! Marquez Valdes-Scantling makes great catches and then drops easy ones. He is a drive killer that the Chiefs should avoid.

Last season he was at 47.3% catch rate. In 2020 his drop rate was 11.1%.

There are better options for the Chiefs.

What's a few years? Three?

MVS - 85 catches, 1572 yards, 11 TDs, 48% catch rate - Aaron Rodgers
Juju - 154 catches, 1521 yards, 12 TDs, 68% catch rate - Ben Roethlisberger
Landry - 207 catches, 2584 yards, 11 TDs, 63% catch rate - Baker Mayfield

And that's with Juju missing most of 2021 due to the shoulder injury.

Landry, sure, but JuJu is only 25. He’s not washed, he just got lost in a talented WR group with an aging/declining QB.

That guys not very realistic or knowledgeable, imo.

This teams problem offensively last year was 2 fold

Andy refused to run the ball
Pat didn’t trust any of his WRs except Hill, Kelce snd later in the year started building trust with Pringle and Hardman. -Towards the end of their third years in the system/offense-

That’s why Pat wants a couple dependable vets at WR and Veach will follow that up with a draft pick WR, too.

We’re going to strike fear into the league again and there will be no counter punch.

he had -- I believe -- 98 catches two years ago with a qb whose arm was actively trying to leave his body.
